  • The Air Hogs Axis 300X is a great looking and easy to fly helicopter. This would be a great choice for kids, or beginning pilots, who are looking to move up to their first 3ch helicopter.
    Enjoy!

    I had the axis 200 for about 3 years and I think it's pretty cool, what I like about it is it has a bumper above the blades so it bumps on to the ceiling.

    When I was younger and fooled around with these toy grade helis id get board with the slow speed and bend the tail props to a more aggressive pitch and gained a lil speed out of em.

    Reasonably priced, good stability, good control, good durability, good flight time, good everything. I can't find anything bad about it. One of Air Hogs best helicopters.

      If there was to be a single-rotor version of the Axis 300X, it would be a new Gyroblade. The 300X is one
      of their best helicopters.

    i think it looks too good for what it is ,to look at it you would think it would go like a rocket but its really slow :)
    also why cant they start adding leds to heli like this for night flight ?

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  9 років тому

      UAV marky I think a kid would think it's pretty fast though. :) LEDs would be a nice addition, especially since the IR signal should work outside fine at night.

    • @uavmarky187

      i was just thinking of the kid turning his lights of in his room at night to fly it i dont think it could handle a puff of wind outside :)

    What's the cheapest but good quality helicopter that can also fly outdoors in low-medium wind. I have a 3ch and no matter what it can't fly outside. So maybe a 4ch? Thnx!

      I work at a mall that has a target and they sell lots of the 200's, the price point is attractive to a lot of parents looking to het their kids a gift. Great little heli once you figure out the proper trim. Thanks Ryan :)

      fordxbgtfalcon Yeah, I may try to get a review out before Christmas comes around, if Air Hogs hasn't replaced it by then. My Air Hogs videos are always popular around Christmas time. :)

    I just bought my first helicopter the air hogs axis 200. How do I fly this thing . It keeps spinning and just takes off and goes wherever it wants. Any tips. Thank you

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  9 років тому

      Tim Tim Try holding it in your hand and turn the throttle up to about 3/4 first, to get it going, and then release it and see if that helps. Obviously, be careful not to hit yourself with the spinning rotor. :)

  • @yashfehassan

    Whitch airhogs product is better axis 300x or axis 400x

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  9 років тому

      Yashfe Hassan Well, it's hard to say which is "better"... it all just depends on whether you want 3ch or 4ch control. I personally prefer 4ch, so I like the 400X more.

  • @28ikenna1
    @28ikenna1 9 років тому

    How does this compare to the Air Hogs axis 200x when it comes to control?

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  9 років тому

      ***** Well, since this is 3ch and coaxial, it is more stable and can fly forward/backward. The 200X is a 2ch single-rotor, so it's a bit less stable, and just always flies forward on its own.

    Its obvious you have multiple air hogs so it seems right that youre the guy to ask, are they cross compatible for charging?

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  9 років тому

      The art of Hex I believe so. As long as the plug type is the same, they should be cross compatible.

    • @theartofhex5581
      @theartofhex5581 9 років тому

      Thanks. My step son has an old caged air hogs that doesnt run anymore. Im thinking about trying to convert the charger into usb. Do you think its possible? Or have you attempted this?

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  9 років тому

      The art of Hex That would be beyond my area of knowledge, so I haven't tried it and don't know if it would work or not. Air Hogs really needs to make a universal USB charger for these things though!

      Flyin' Ryan RC yeah they do. Im new to the rc heli hobby but have fallen in love with it fast. Starving artist is a very real thing unfortunately, so i dont have alot of money to put into the hobby. However, when i get my taxes i plan on getting a new heli (probably another syma), and the syma x12 for my first nano quad. Thanks for the info and reviews. Your my go to guy for all my info before i ever purchase another heli or nano.
