This guys just made a very wonderful sense. We import kerosene, petrol and diesel but this guys are producing it locally. Why not create local refining facilities in almost all those areas, give them crude to refine and pay the federal government. The form a union to make sure only fuel produced in Nigeria are sold to Nigerians.

He mentioned the need to partner these illegal refineries and standardize some of their processes. I am a chemical engr, I did my IT in warri refinery. The technology here is quite impressive compare to some other fabricated ones, I think they spent a lot of money to build this. But My only concern is the adverse effects on the environment as well as the health and safety of the workers here, I don't really care about what the government say about them because I believe one can not steal what belong to him. #The metals used here can easily ignite fire and the heating process can be improved on#
The last speaker was on point on his suggestion, that government should legalised their business and in turn they should pay tax to the central government. Fuel is always in short supply in the country, documenting and legalising artisans refiners will remedy the situation. I believe to the government they will rather pave way for the bourgeoisies to be importing finished product so that to continue subsidizing the petroleum products.
