A lot of dumbasses who've never played a guitar don't understand that a lot of those super fast power shreds are hammer-ons and pulloffs. Hammer-ons are extremely quiet without distortion. Just the way it is.

Also I was on the third floor of my school and heard a construction truck start just by the rumble of the low bass tones. I asked if anyone else heard a truck start up and no one did. Not really. The part your referring to is actually a part played on rhythm guitar by James. Yet another reason why the bass was so hidden. Seriously, you can most definitely hear that part in the original, I used to mistake it for a bass line most of my life until someone told me there wasn’t any at all.

yep I noticed where the top hand that was hitting the low E would mess up occasionally, and one hand would hit the other, but like you said, it didn't screw it up at all.
The top hand wasn't bad considering that they were probably staring at the back of the rhythm players shirt for most of the video xD
Like the solo. They probably had to change the way they play it since it's an 8 string instead of the traditional 6 string. Also they hat to make the low string a bass so technically it would be 7 strings. And you could understand 3 people in a small area for one guitar
