Once I cut a soda can with industrial scissors. Making it the same design as the wrap around and it actually work and lasted longer than the original plastic wrap around ......
Do you guys know of anything like this that is designed for on ice use? My son's sticks never last in the toe, but the rest of the sticks are just fine, something like this for on ice extra protection would be amazing!
Just don't go full caged, either full plexi guard, or half visor half cage. If you're playing in a more advanced league where all players keep their sticks down, you could play with just a visor (else you might get a few sticks to your mouth).
any one can say me were i can buy one protector in México or know some one can send me one and i pay all of the send to México. i really love so much de hockey but is hard buy hockey equipment here.
Ahh I don't fully agree, I think the steel one is probably more for shooting a lot every day because no doubt that plastic one eventually would get worn down by pavement, not saying ones better, and maybe I'm just an idiot but the weight doesn't seem like a big deal, but personally just go buy a ccm heat stick or something, wooden shaft fibreglass blade, 10 dollars Canadian usually in the summer, weighs more will last probably all summer, just a smarter thing to do, save the nice sticks for when your actually playing😂
BauerYT probably not using it right. Mine has lasted 6 months so far and I do everything with it. I also know they have a 30 day warranty so you should message them if you possibly got a defective one.
Green Hippo honestly I love it. It works exactly as described. I play stick hockey with my kids and take it off for my ice games. I would recommend it.
You either got a bad one, or you did not tape it. They NEED to be taped over in order to last. If you just wrap the ends to keep it on your stick it will wear down
Green Hippo it's better if you get a shaft cheap online and get blades it better it costs 30 dollars for a wrap around and it's cheap for a shaft and blades and you can get mutiple
I have 2 ICE models. First one broke after less than a week of use and the company gladly sent a replacement, but my second one just got its first break/bend near the toe (its all still one piece though, but it'll fall off/break off soon) after a few months of use.
I don't think wrap around is a good idea for ball hockey games. Just by looking at the video - wouldn't there be a ridge halfway up your blade from the wrap around??? how thin is it??? If it's as thick as I think it is, it would be bad for pass reception or shooting as this ridge would affect your shot. Also I don't think it could handle the abuse you would typically see in a game from opponents - I could see this getting damaged easily from a slash or even incidental contact.
Really why do you make the stuff you go on the ice with this you’re totally going to get kicked out of the ice tonight do you know why I don’t know but it can damage the new skates again if you have a park in Irvine this to
where has this channel been my whole life?
Sooo it's privately formulated plastic yes?
I'm not sure if it's privately formulated plastic
Such a great video! Thank you so much, Chris!

You should go to allstars hockey (shop) in Swindon
This is great for a hockey momma, while quarantine is in effect! Get that boy out there! And make the arms strengthen
I tenner when you had 4K lol. Keep going bro
Is the steel version more durable than the plastic because I want to have this for a while
the steel one breaks the plastic one wears id say plastic last longer but I guess its just how rough you are
My son and I practice everyday with the plastic version. They usually last around 4 to 5 months of hard use. Pretty damn good.
the plastic one, how long does it last on asphalt?
Can you put them over tape on your stick
That’s the first video he shows if it being used at the beginning
Jesse Poage but its not being used at there ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Nooooo (sarcasm)

Do u have to take ur wraparound before you go on the ice
Hey i have a question. Which one ineed to choose caged or visor glass or hal visor glaass half caged
Just don't go full caged, either full plexi guard, or half visor half cage.
If you're playing in a more advanced league where all players keep their sticks down, you could play with just a visor (else you might get a few sticks to your mouth).
Use a cage, it's easier, better looking, doesn't fog up, and I've never found visibility a problem
5hole_hky better looking is questionable.
ALifeLost in my opinion it looks better than a clear dome in front of your face lol
I like my Bauer bubble. Yeah you have to wipe it out occasionally, but whatever.
What is your fav NHL team I live in GTA A.K.A the greater Toronto area and mine is Montreal Canadians
Is there a goalie version?
I tried putting one of these on a wooden goalie stick and it's not working lol
Oof
What handed ness are you

Ter Hurry i think for the steel one you shoild just find a heavy cheap wood stick
Ter Hurry I agree
Using an old shaft and a bad blade would work as well, especially since the balance will be so bad towards the blade.
this will help me alott
Does it work with a square toe?
Yes it does!
Hockey Tutorial perfect! Thanks 😁
Nik
Code isn't working for 10% off
Wrap arounnds break for me way to easy I got the ice wrap around and I play competitive and it breaks way to easy

Sweet!
Great video. Gonna buy a wrap around ice. Thanks!
Connor Wilson save your money
Hellious why is it not good?
I suspect the plastic is nylon, it’s tough and hard wearing. It’s a good product, expensive for a piece of plastic, but it works well.
Why not make it even heavier???
I could use one of these!!!!
Seth Burton they are not that much
$29.99 IN US
I need this
I took a slapshot with the wa ice and the part that covers the toe broke off. Still usable though
Magnificent Cheese what's your team then mate
Magnificent Cheese are you 10 years old?
lance cuckborn I don't understand why you think that's an insult, but yes, I am. Got a problem?
Magnificent Cheese at least you have an excuse for why you act so immature and obnoxious.

Bring back shafts, Replaceable blades are the best solution. Most Pros want them back as well. Your shot WONT change!
Watch our most recent video !
Every one except the dangler
I have the One, and it scratches the crap out of my stick blade. Hate that.
Same it like digs in my blade
The metal one breaks soooo fast.
