Datsyuk’s hockey IQ was off the charts. One of the smartest players I’ve ever watched. It was a pleasure watching him throughout his career here in Detroit. Dude was insane!!!
Daniel sedins goal. The tip pass. It is known as "the goal of the decade" and I 100 percent agree. I haven't seen anyone do what the sedins could do. That flick goal too is insane
The flick goal is absolutely unreal. I’ve never seen anything like it. If it was accidental it would be a funny little novelty goal that was fun to watch, maybe just to goof on Hiller. But it was an intentional shot when he knew Hiller’s view was obstructed, over the head of two players, and he picked a corner. THAT is the goal of the decade for me. Mario fuckin Lemieux couldn’t do that shit.
@@brabak6894 yeaaah the pass requires a bit more skill than the sedans. Sedins finish is way nicer. I'm talking strictly pass my bad should have said that.
I can't believe I looked through all the comments and you posted the only comment about that. That's incredible D work. I was just watching Miller catch Oshie again and noticed the push. What a strange, amazing play.
Mickey Redmond: "Do you believe that" Ken Daniels: "I do" Lol we saw Datsyuk do so much crazy stuff every game that even our announcers were like, "Meh, it's just Pavel being Pavel" 😂
Dude there’s so many videos out there of that I see you on every video commenting this dumb shit grow a pair and type that same thing into the search bar you donut
I mean, if you're allowed to hit it with your stick, why not with your leg? If he had held on to it better, it wouldn't have flied off. As long as there's no grabbing involved, I'm okay with the logic of it all.
I have a challenging one for you... "Players Make Their Own Saves" in the case of Pominville vs the Oilers. That is definitely 1000IQ if I've ever seen it.
0:58 I do that ALL the time when playing street hockey. Lol I drives people insane. I move in close like I’m gonna stick handle through their triangle, and as soon as they’re about to poke check, WHAM! I smack their stick. Lmao It normally plays as a stick lift to enable a deke, but when you catch em off guard, sometimes their lumber goes flying.
You should have put in the video, clip from the Canada vs. U.S.A. 2002 Olympic Gold Medal game "the pass". There is a pass made from close to the corner and behind the goal line, Mario Lemiuex is driving to the front of the net, Paul Kariya is about 2 strides behind him on his right side, Mario puts down his stick and it looks like he is going to take the pass. He instead (knowing he Kariya going with him) lets it go through his legs and Kariya has a wide open net and scores on Mike Richter. Myself and friends that were watching it as it happened, went crazy and couldn't believe it.
Datsyuk is the perfect guy for the thumbnail
His hockey intelligence is unrivaled
Guy made it look so easy
It’s already been done
Datsyuk? Dude was fucking garbage. Datsyuk's never made a 1,000 IQ play in his life.
@@OliveTakahashi clearly u haven’t watched hockey

Facts, also Nathan McKinnons sudden pop up was unreal. One year I don’t even know the kid, then the next he is wining a Stanley cup!
That defensive push by Hughes is so underrated. glad to see it featured here.

Now that's what I call, a sitting duck
Haha!
a lot of us have referred to that play as the sitting duck play! was fantastic to see live!
@@ike789125 Wow, nice!
Haha! 😆 😂 🤣
It should also have been called a minor penalty for delay of game instantly.
Mr Pavel Datsyuk deserves the hall of fame no doubt.. I wish he was in the league for a little bit longer
how could he be nominated when he still plays?
@@MrDicDr He doesn’t? He retired in 2015-16... ouchhhh.

@@Lite-8 ouchhhh
He only had one hatrick
3:32 Crosby not touching the puck is just great, especially since his teammate whiffed, he could've thought he touched it. Great hockey IQ there!!
Greatest hockey IQ in the nhl right now if not all time
all hail Datsyuk, but the Sedin lob was just insane.
Lets be real, Datsyuk could have a hour long video of 1000 IQ plays. Such an honor watching him throughout his career in Detroit.
Daniel sedins goal. The tip pass. It is known as "the goal of the decade" and I 100 percent agree. I haven't seen anyone do what the sedins could do. That flick goal too is insane

This could be an entire Pavel Datsyuk compilation.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jumbo using the beaver tail to get Hemsky to pass it right to him is a beauty!
that Quinn Hughes push maybe the smartest thing ever
The Geno pass to Rust is so ridiculous seeing that he never looks back to see if anyone is coming. The chemistry between the two is unreal
I think we can all agree that Quinns push to jt was the best
I can't believe I looked through all the comments and you posted the only comment about that. That's incredible D work. I was just watching Miller catch Oshie again and noticed the push. What a strange, amazing play.

well damn, that backhand shovel from Daniel Sedin was pretty swift and neat
I see Datsyuk, I click. Perfect thumbnail!
To me the Sedin goal was the ultimate. Tic tack toe no look deflection pass and then between the leg flip unbelievable.
suggestion: NHL superstars best highlights from other leagues
If you do this video, you must put there Sebastian Aho's overtime goal on game seven in liiga finals.
Suggestion: Nice plays that turned out to nothing
Promising plays?
all for nothing plays has already been done
Blueballs plays?
Kovalchuk’s end to end rush against Philly in the playoffs with New Jersey. Would’ve been a top 5 goal of all time and barely missed the net.
It would be 5 weeks long
Sedins 👌 Never boring to watch them, proud to be swede. 2006! 🥇🥇
Living in the mitten my whole life it's always brings a tear to my eye to see Datsyuk on the compilations. much love #13

I'm surprised kicking the stick out of someone's hands is a legal play lmao

The pokecheck by Mika on the sedin between the legs.
:BRILLIANT😂😂
Suggestion: players giving up on plays.. can’t find a compilation of it, loved the Kostitsyn and Ovechkin controller disconnected clips
Insane video. I enjoyed it very much!
One can never have enough Datsyuk highlights to watch
The Magic Man 🔥
seeing all the pavel comments makes me glad i was a red wings fan;-)
So many fun details in the game of hockey!!!
Do underrated saves. Your underrated videos are awesome
I feel like the coolest plays have the highest IQ
That first Sedin goal was jaw dropping
Idc where you got this videos from cause its a banger👌👌
Jamie Benn putting his stick under the net is my favourite. Lmao
Suggestion: Goals assisted by the Sedins which made average/ below-average players look like stars.
Suggestion: NHL cat-like reflex plays
@delta highlights do you use we video
I have to watch these each at least twice because the puck moves so fast lol

You gotta do a pavel datsyuk stick handling/ stealing pucks video
The letters D-A-T-S-Y-U-K secretly spell 10,000 IQ

Best drafts picks by each team or best draft picks
