    This looks so good, I’m Haitian and that the way we make it also with condense milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla essence 😋 we eat that in the morning or at night

    Just finished making this. I chose to use more coconut milk since I don’t like milk. It was amazing. 👏🏾🙅🏾‍♀️

    My dear old mum said she didn't know I could cook cornmeal porridge and I cook it nice😁... I never tell her it's Chef Ricardo's ... So now it's me one making it for her ... 😄🤗

    You know, chef Ricardo, you are the only person who uses the real old fashion cornmeal that’s really really grainy. It’s not the instant stuff that it’s done in 30 minutes. No you use the kind you have to stir for an hour and there is a big difference because I just tried the other kind and it doesn’t have the same flavor that the original cornmeal does But my husband said he couldn’t find what I was talking about for the original corn meal. Unfortunately, progress is not really progress.
    I put in mine, one piece of cinnamon I put in one star anise, one whole ginger please nutmeg and it turned out very nice. However, things are not the way they used to be the way I remember things were in Jamaica I believe partly it is due to the fact that America have so much GMO foods. You cannot get real food over here any longer. It is quite a shame really go best of living life to you yours, Antoinette Jackson.

    I like that cornmeal porridge. But sadly its not available here in Philippines 😔. I used to eat it when i was young and now there's no more cornmeal to buy in here. 🙁

    No sah! I always tried to get my cornmeal porridge like this and I never knew how. A si best ting fi blend the cornmeal!!!!!

      U love too much fast ting...just mix out the meal in cold water then through it in the pot of boiling water n stir n cook good...no blends round here fi cawn meal

    Hey chef, thanks for the recipe. I blended mine: fab! Cinnamon and nutmeg but what is in the spice mix? Also there is no nutritional difference between sea salt and table salt as you suggest in the video. Please could you put up the recipe. Nice and lovely. Thanks
