This looks so good, I’m Haitian and that the way we make it also with condense milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla essence 😋 we eat that in the morning or at night
Thank you so much Chef Ricardo! Cornmeal porridge is one of my favorite, and my grandkids love it, so I will be making some for them this weekend! Bless up yourself Chef!
Hi Chef. Looks lovely as usual but can you please provide us with a written version that gives us the exact measurements of the ingredients used? Thank you.
My dear old mum said she didn't know I could cook cornmeal porridge and I cook it nice😁... I never tell her it's Chef Ricardo's ... So now it's me one making it for her ... 😄🤗
You know, chef Ricardo, you are the only person who uses the real old fashion cornmeal that’s really really grainy. It’s not the instant stuff that it’s done in 30 minutes. No you use the kind you have to stir for an hour and there is a big difference because I just tried the other kind and it doesn’t have the same flavor that the original cornmeal does But my husband said he couldn’t find what I was talking about for the original corn meal. Unfortunately, progress is not really progress. I put in mine, one piece of cinnamon I put in one star anise, one whole ginger please nutmeg and it turned out very nice. However, things are not the way they used to be the way I remember things were in Jamaica I believe partly it is due to the fact that America have so much GMO foods. You cannot get real food over here any longer. It is quite a shame really go best of living life to you yours, Antoinette Jackson.
I like that cornmeal porridge. But sadly its not available here in Philippines 😔. I used to eat it when i was young and now there's no more cornmeal to buy in here. 🙁

Hey chef, thanks for the recipe. I blended mine: fab! Cinnamon and nutmeg but what is in the spice mix? Also there is no nutritional difference between sea salt and table salt as you suggest in the video. Please could you put up the recipe. Nice and lovely. Thanks

Too many ingredients....is there a simple one recipe pls?

Lol, he's jamaican, he's talking our language called patois 😂
The one time he gives us measurements, he adds too much water
you're a good cook! very good but you're too repetitive! we get it! you repeat the same thing 4-5x in one video! lol
Yes, he tends to do that... I think that he reiterates it because he's focusing on his actions and thoughts too much. Lol
Dis man chat tuh much!! Can you get straight to the point and write down the method and measurements!! Chuh!
