@fakirmusic The color is Nightmist Blue done in Dupont Base/Clear Color code for that is "K". Under the fluorescent lights it doesn't show the mica (or metallic). That is where we got the name for the car, we call her the Nightmistress.
@KingQTR Us too King! We finally wrapped up the fuel line to the carburetor this week and we're starting to install the main fuel line to the tank. We hope to have it street side in a couple of months!
@KingQTR Ha! We'd die trying to finish the thing in two weeks. We might could START it in a couple of weeks...no, knowing Vinnie and Jeff it would take longer.
Jeff, figured out why I have a problem with the stone guard. You have a 67 which has an extra brace forward of the hood latch support brace. I have a 66 which has a tab/hole on the support brace but the stone guard hole for that is about 1.5 inches away (large gap forward)...not sure how I will mount. Suggestions?
Man I watched your videos and you’ve got me through this whole job on this 66 Mustang how ever I have a huge problem I can not get figured out so I watched your front bumper install and flowed every step but my issue is I have about a 2-1/2 inch gap on both corners of the bumper it’s not letting me to be able to bolt bumper to fenders do you have any help to this problem please and also the bumper n brackets n bolt kits from npd all new thanks hope to hear from u soon as I’m trying to get car done by the weekend it’s sept 9 2018
Once again, you guys showed me exactly the info I needed. I came across your channel when I was researching Mustang II front ends. You had an episode on the Rod & Custom front end, I think it was on a Fairlane. Anyways, I ended going that route too. Thank you so much for this channel, it has helped so many times. One quick question....what goes in the square holes on the stone guard?
Thanks for the kind words! The square holes are for mounting the stone deflector to the mounting brackets. The NPD part number is: 17779-2AK for the bolt kit.
Had to take all that apart to fix a leak on the cowl under the left fender, and now the bumper and brackets have nothing lining up correctly, especially the inner two of the four. What turned out to be a 30 minute water leak fix is going to be a few hundred dollar replacement job for the bumper now. FML. At least this video shows me how to put it all together correctly, so thank you.
I love your videos. Thanks for all your work. In this case, are you sure the bumper is not installed upside down?! One would think the bolts should be on the bottom side!

Ok I might be doing my Mustang this color.
Drop. Dead. Gorgeous.

Nice work guys, from William at MustangMedic
Nice job. Do you have a video on replacing fender extensions on a 67 Mustang?
@AutoRestoMod Oh That's a lot I thought within a couple of weeks this project will be done. But its good so you can watch more! =)

@AutoRestoMod nice! it was not available for the 1965 models though, so i think i'll stick to the caspian blue ;-)
just checking that the wave washers are placed between the bracket and underside of the bumper
Yes.
@@AutoRestoMod Thankyou

Thanks for the kind words. Nope the bumper is right; bolts on a lot of Ford cars from that era are set up like that..
@vwdarrin =)
You left out the bumperettes
I didn't want them. I like the clean lines of the bumper without them
that really is a tupee
Dan Miller Prove it. =)
Thank you so fucking much
