I disagree with you on the blood dripping from yujis arm cut, i think it looked great and fluid, it looked like a stylistic choice to me, for example the yutapon or yutapon style shot in bakugou vs Deku from mha season 3. Bakugou was assessing the wound on his arm, and bakugou was breathing heavily so his whole body was moving, and the wound moved with it but it looked like the wound was disproportionatley shifting to different parts of his arm.
2:41 That's probably simulating a dolly zoom. You can search it up. So essentially, in this cut, they're simulating the camera pushing in towards Choro while the lens is zooming out. (decreasing focal length / increasing FOV)
The zoom in on Yuji’s legs didn’t feel awkward to me, it felt like another way to emphasize the speed, intensity, and the footwork he was having to use. Very well animated too.
FYI it was confirmed by Sunakohara that the segment had layouts with very complex choreography but for the final product they zoomed in on Yuji's legs cause it was incomplete.
