@@nekaeljones3086 yea John Stockton was great in his own way and phenomenal in his day but in his day and until now when the two played the game Isiah Thomas was cream of the crop, Stockton a level below him. Isiah from 84 to 87 was making Jordan like movement in the playoffs and shaking up hierarchy. 84 vs King & New York, 85 vs New Jersey and Boston, 86 vs Atlanta, 87 vs Washington vs Atlanta vs Boston.
Isiah from his 3rd season to 6th season was a playoff team second round twice and ECFinalist by 6th season, from there he was an NBA finals finalist 88-90 for his 7th 8th 9th seasons. Stockton meanwhile was a bench player from 85 to 87 and 88 his best example of shaking up hierarchy ended in Game 7 of the 88 WCSF. From there, Stockton was out the first round years 5 and 6 with 91 in year 7 when MJ was dethroning a King 👑 Isiah and King 👑 Magic ✨ Stockton was losing to Drexler who was short of Magic Jordan and Isiah still ... Year 8 when Jordan was becoming a 2x champion to match Isiah Stockton was making his first WCF thanks largely to a Magic absence. And Stockton had Malone. A league MVP candidate at the time like one of the main 5 players in the league by 92, with Jordan, Drexler, Barkley, Olajuwon, Malone, Ewing & Robinson an interchangeable headlining top 7 of that brief era post Magic and Bird and Isiah's reign. Isiah was a quick fall off post 91 and started losing steam 🚂 as one of the top top freshest most capable franchise guys in the league as Bad Boys were nosediving from there and he became a Chauncey Billups like guy on teams not even winning much more after 91. But Stockton never cracked the top 7 or top 8, Isiah was probably top 5-7 from 84 to 90. More or less. Stockton flirts in 88 but never surpasses Drexler, Malone his teammate, he almost was the higher ceiling guy in 88 but that quickly stabilized and never followed again tremendously in the postseason his wonderful regular seasons. He never surpassed Ewing, Barkley, Olajuwon, and Robinson. And Pippen had em by 92 as better more crucial sidekick in the NBA with growing contention out of Seattle in Gary Payton before the coronation could make sense for Stockton.
Then Shaq was drafted 93. Stockton never got the level of undisputed greatness as Isiah. Isiah was beating the best at their best at his best. Stockton was flirting with the best with the best at his best and they would most likely win.

Only player to average 21 points and 13 assists in a season.
4 seasons averaging 20 points and 10 assists, second to the 5 by Oscar Robertson.
NBA finals records for steals in a game and series.

Now ask yourself this question, how many Top 10 players played for a high school state title, won a NCAA title and back to back NBA titles?
Larry Bird never played for a state title in high school, never won a NCAA title and never won consecutive NBA titles.
Jerry West nor Oscar Robertson won titles in college.
Dr.J, Baylor or Wilt won college titles either.

Bird never won a state title in Indiana, didn't win a national title in Indiana and while with the Pacers never won a NBA title.

Yeah Milwaukee is literally right up Lake Michigan not on the other side around the bend across the state of Michigan by Lake Erie like Detroit. Detroit and Cleveland are closer than Chicago and Detroit. The Pacers are 3 hrs away. Milwaukee bout an hour. Detroit is like 3-4 right?
But yeah I think draft order was his line of thinking. We know Isiah ain't ignorant nah... He always speaks with intent within context and cumulative... So more than likely it's our mistakes in comprehension here than his train of thought 💭 🤔 derailing.

Ugh Quadroons like Steph Curry didn't even exist in the NBA yet .. white ladies in United States of America weren't positioning their vaginas around rich NBA BBC until the 2000's. Even MJ didn't have mocha babies and he married a Cubana where they mixed chocolate con crema for a longer time than the United States have.
Even Scottie Pippen has black kids. It took the Mychal Thompson's and Dell Currys to produce these extra mixed babies that didn't even exist as plentifully in the NBA until this modern era.. hence the creation of handy dribblers shooting 3's cuz we've mixed the genetics of the Isiah Thomas African Americans with the Steve Kerr Blanco Americanos stand and shoot 3's game and created a hybrid Mulatto of breakdown off dribble to create space for SELF and shoot 3's.
Scottie Pippen was like the lightest brother in the 80's and 90's NBA. Reggie Miller, Dell Curry. Thompson, Abdelnaby, Tito Horford, Charles Barkley these were the mulattos in the 80's and 90's. We didn't get Blake Griffin and Klay and Steph till this new age left of Ronald Reagan politics and 50 Cent playing at your Catholic school dance circa 2003 impregnating Raelle Pruente Italian Chicagoan girls with afro Catholic Puerto Rican nigglette sperm cells of the West African origin...
