I've not seen the word pretend anywhere in the text within this video? This is our take and a question we posed. Elvis was always Elvis, that is not the question here. But the entertainer was very different from Elvis the man. Maybe when things were more difficult for him in the later years he pulled on something to help him get through. His brother was always we believe a source of strength and comfort in his life. And there is no pretence in that in anyway shape or form. He was always one of two and that link could never be severed. It is maybe something to think about, rather than to dismiss as lacking truth and honesty.

Interesting take on the way Elvis was on stage and off. Maybe because you and Craig are twins. I've heard so many people ask and wonder how a shy guy like Elvis could perform the way be did on stage from the beginning. Asking which was the real Elvis? I've always thought both but now your video is food for thought. I've never heard an explanation from those closest to Elvis. Bruce Springsteen once offered that maybe the real Elvis was on stage and off stage he was pretending. Who knows? Maybe if Elvis lived longer be would have told us. He did say in the 1972 interview that, the image is one thing and it's very hard to live up to and image. Great stuff 💕

Interesting take on the way Elvis was on stage and off. Maybe because you and Craig are twins. I've heard so many people ask and wonder how a shy guy like Elvis could perform the way be did on stage from the beginning. Asking which was the real Elvis? I've always thought both but now your video is food for thought. I've never heard an explanation from those closest to Elvis. Bruce Springsteen once offered that maybe the real Elvis was on stage and off stage he was pretending. Who knows? Maybe if Elvis lived longer be would have told us. He did say in the 1972 interview that, the image is one thing and it's very hard to live up to and image. Great stuff 💕

I'm sorry Scotty. I have to voice one huge complaint about your channel...not enough videos!!! Just kidding my friend. But actually I'm not. There are many quality Elvis channels, but you continue to set the standard. I find myself going back to your old videos all the time. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your album and movie reviews. They are so incredibly well done. All the videos are great. The video where you and your brother detail Elvis' lead into "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" at the International always brings me to tears. So beautifully produced. Thank you both. I also love when you and your brother got together to review 1957 around Christmas time. That was SOOOOOO GOOD. And I could go on.
