Beautiful tribute! This is a doubly sad day for me. My brother, who introduced me to Elvis' music, passed away on the same day (August 16). Thank you for this!

Elvis will be remembered always its a American tridition here in the South to introduce our grandchildren to his music and movies. Even today you can see 2 and 3 year olds spin dancing singing rollin on da river. My middle son carries the name Aaron in honor of Elvis. Love for him and Lisa may they sing and make the streets of heaven ring with their vocalizations.

I'm so glad and grateful that fans like you exist simply to prove his fears were needless because he really IS more than just a singer. Few people leave such a lasting and positive legacy. I wish more people knew of his great generosity or knew of his cultural influence. Elvis changed the world and the fact that he never set out to achieve the things he did make it even more magnificent. What other singer or honestly, person has the anniversary of their passing marked in such a way every year? Only Elvis.

So sad to see Lisa Marie across from him now, but so comforting to be there with other fans as I paid my respects. I watched the candlelight vigil last night online, but I wish I could have been there in person. Elvis is sorely missed, and it's heartbreaking that he never knew just how beloved he was and is.

I was up here in the Northeast USA and it’s 7:38AM (6:38 AM Memphis time). I try to sleep every year on this date. If I do, I wake with a start at 10 AM thinking is this when he fell to the floor? The maid said she heard a funny noise that sounded like someone fell between 9-9:30 AM Memphis time. She started up and realized he wasn’t alone, that Ginger was with him. I as myself wonder at this time, did he not feel well & head in the bathroom to read? If I do sleep, I’m haunted by dreams, if I don’t sleep,I’m exhausted and over emotional by midday. I wonder if he called out, or as a Nurse hoping it was an arrhythmia & he didn’t know a thing. Like snapping your fingers. All I do know is I do this and feel this for a man I never knew or met. What is this phenomenon that Elvis fans go through? I don’t have any answers. All I know as I wrote in a blog last night for a channel, is he had this aura of love that drew people to him & perhaps that’s why he continues to be so relevant today. 46 yrs after his death. It’s all the more combined this yr because of Lisa Marie’s sudden death 7 months ago only. But they’re together… that I’m at peace with. Your videos, along with your sound tracks & songs are always perfection. I’ve cried, smiled and laughed at many of them throughout the years. But… always on this date the tears just silently roll down my face. The content is always bittersweet, lovely & hits a nerve about Elvis and his love for us and our unconditional love for him as fans. I thank you for all the time and effort put into your work to keep Elvis’s music alive and to pass on the feelings we have for this man. Such a dichotomy, he was. I will miss him till the day I’m gone & if I’m a bit lucky, perhaps he’ll be there to sing to me and other fans as he greets us with that warm golden God given voice. How can you forget someone with the talent, and generosity, and kindness toward complete strangers like he did. Sure he had his troubles like we all have, but he was a very special human being.I can relate to his trouble with sleeping, because I have the same issue. Without my medication Ill lay awake all night until I take it and then I can go to sleep. Not always anymore, because I've been on the same dose for so long. Your body just just immune to it after a while. But R. I. P. our dear Elvis!😥🙏😇

I'm so glad and grateful that fans like you exist simply to prove his fears were needless because he really IS more than just a singer. Few people leave such a lasting and positive legacy. I wish more people knew of his great generosity or knew of his cultural influence. Thank you so much for this beautiful tribute; so moving. I was at Graceland last week, before Elvis week started. So sad to see Lisa Marie across from him now, but so comforting to be there with other fans as I paid my respects. I watched the candlelight vigil last night online, but I wish I could have been there in person. Elvis is sorely missed, and it's heartbreaking that he never knew just how beloved he was and is.

I was up here in the Northeast USA and it’s 7:38AM (6:38 AM Memphis time). I try to sleep every year on this date. If I do, I wake with a start at 10 AM thinking is this when he fell to the floor? The maid said she heard a funny noise that sounded like someone fell between 9-9:30 AM Memphis time. She started up and realized he wasn’t alone, that Ginger was with him. I as myself wonder at this time, did he not feel well & head in the bathroom to read? If I do sleep, I’m haunted by dreams, if I don’t sleep,I’m exhausted and over emotional by midday. I wonder if he called out, or as a Nurse hoping it was an arrhythmia & he didn’t know a thing. Like snapping your fingers. All I do know is I do this and feel this for a man I never knew or met. What is this phenomenon that Elvis fans go through? I don’t have any answers. All I know as I wrote in a blog last night for a channel, is he had this aura of love that drew people to him & perhaps that’s why he continues to be so relevant today. 46 yrs after his death. It’s all the more combined this yr because of Lisa Marie’s sudden death 7 months ago only. But they’re together… that I’m at peace with. Your videos, along with your sound tracks & songs are always perfection. I’ve cried, smiled and laughed at many of them throughout the years. But… always on this date the tears just silently roll down my face. The content is always bittersweet, lovely & hits a nerve about Elvis and his love for us and our unconditional love for him as fans. I thank you for all the time and effort put into your work to keep Elvis’s music alive and to pass on the feelings we have for this man. Such a dichotomy, he was. I will miss him till the day I’m gone & if I’m a bit lucky, perhaps he’ll be there to sing to me and other fans as he greets us with that warm golden God given voice. Thank you for the tribute. This was the man who wondered how long he would be remembered! If he only knew. How can you forget someone with the talent, and generosity, and kindness toward complete strangers like he did. Sure he had his troubles like we all have, but he was a very special human being.I can relate to his trouble with sleeping, because I have the same issue. Without my medication Ill lay awake all night until I take it and then I can go to sleep. Not always anymore, because I've been on the same dose for so long. Your body just just immune to it after a while. But R. I. P. our dear Elvis!😥🙏😇
