Remember seeing the.movie when it came out. Thought how great handsome. Elvis was in it. Was so good. Thanks. Both slow and faster versions are great. Anything. Elvis did was great. Love his songs. So much !!

Great show but I think 1967 was his worst year for movies...double trouble and easy come are pretty dismal. I agree Elvis looks pretty happy and interested in Frankie and Johnny and overall it is a pretty good film. As to projection, Elvis really hated singing to recorded tracks and I suspect the change in style reflected that frustration.
