    Another aspect about this episode is that Serena was introduced, the creation of Elizabeth Montgomery. I believe she based her on her own cousin Panda, who I've read had a sense of humor. I've heard that about Elizabeth Montgomery, too.
    Somebody posted that they were surprised that Sam could have children normally. Well, in the episode THE WITCHES ARE OUT, Sam mentions that witches are like anybody else, almost. In SAMANTHA'S CURIOUS CRAVINGS, Darrin asks Sam how does Dr. Anton take her blood pressure? She said, "In the normal way." They're human, but centuries ahead of us in terms of life span and mental abilities. Sam's home is here on Earth and the cosmos. She and her people can travel anywhere in the solar system at will. They also have their own 'universe'.

    It is funny how long women stayed in the hospital then. Sometimes nearly a week, but usually four days or so. When my daughter was born, they were going to send her home immediately. However, my wife had been up nearly all night, so i asked if she could stay and rest for one night.

    • @auntiem873
      @auntiem873 5 років тому +3

      Mikedeela - when I had my baby it was 18 hours of labor, contractions less than 5 minutes apart. Had my son around 4 in the morning. I was tired, couldn’t sleep till they moved me to my room around 6 am. I slept till around 4 got yelled at for not visiting my child in the nursery. He could not come to my room due to a complication (not too serious) did what I was suppose to do, get up walk around, pee on my own. Next day I was told to be out after breakfast. I was told I would be in the hospital for 3 days. The hospital said I was - 1 day for delivery (not their fault it took so long), 1 day for recovery (sleep and rest after giving birth) and the last day - check out was at 9am, and they said that, that was my 3rd day. I had to leave my baby at the hospital for it’s treatments for another 3 days. I could visit at 9am, just couldn’t stay past 6pm.

      In Australia there is no nursery. The baby stays with you as soon as it is born

    • @auntiem873
      @auntiem873 5 років тому +1

      Dust Mite - more and more hospitals are doing that here too.
      They are not getting rid of the nursery for the odd mothers death or coma, if the mother can’t take of the baby or birth defect and the baby needs extra.

      @@auntiem873 I had my second baby I had her on a Friday night at midnight and was going home Sunday, they asked me if I wanted to stay a couple extra days just to practice breast feeding. Lol.

      Aspen Robinson - I wish they would have let me. I had not breast feed him yet due to being hooked up to IV’s and had to stay on the Billi light.
      They told me to leave and that my baby was staying. I even asked if I could stay and told no. I was a first time Mom, I was on leave now, my child was in good hands just not mine. I wanted to stay I even said I would sleep on the floor. Nope. He did come home though 4 days later. The worse 3 nights of my life.
