30) When using Solar AND wind put a splitter that drives the power to a single node so as long as there is power either from solar or wind the button will be off, when power from both of them runs out, the generator(s) will turn on.
30 If you run the wind and solar through a battery then attach the Power Sensor to the battery it can be used to trigger the Generator when neither wind or sunshine is available (or even if their is insufficient power provided by wind or sun) PS Use an Extender between the Battery and the Generator to stop the power going back to the Battery which will trigger the Generator on/off rapidly.
I think I used a battery back when I first made a video on this, but my tactic was wonky so I just decided to simplify it so my worm brain could keep up.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer Yes, I remember that episode and never looked into it any further. But I think the problem lays in the use of the Battery Sensor which has just that one option, rather than the power Sensor which can be set to 'Power gained or lost'. It may also make a difference with the layout of the connections. I ran wind/solar > Battery on small platform with Power Sensor > Extender (to stop energy flowing back) > then Generator > machinery. I just ran another test and a battery is not needed at all. Just connect as follows: Wind Turbine > Solar Panel > Power Sensor > Extender > Generator > Machinery. That would be good in early game then, as Mdm Batteries become available, place them before the Power Sensor so that the Generators don't turn on until the Batteries have been drained.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer To be quite honest, I seldom, if ever, use the generators. I think its just an hangover from the early days when generators ran on coal which was very hard to find and I've never gotten out of the habit of finding other ways to generate and store power.
@@tassie7325 I remember the og generator. I thought it was a much neater concept than just placing solar panels and such, but I was really disappointed to learn that it sucked. I like how the new one is certainly useful at some times, but just like with everything else, it is overshadowed by the RTG. I honestly think the game would be far more balanced without the RTG, as you would have to put in genuine effort to achieve 24/7 power.
13:08 can confirm, i found a functioning extra large wind turbine on atrox and spend 20 mins trying to get it back to my base cause all I had was a tractor
I discovered that about dynamite on my own. I had printed like 100 or so and they were all near the shredder. It straight up teleported all my stuff into another dimension. Pretty neat.
I watch a lot of guides/tips/tricks videos for various games throughout my gaming hobby and this is one of the best ones. Quick edits, good humor, no annoying music, useful tips. Nice job!
14:12 34.5 There’s actually a pretty good use to that thing. It’s just lore material, but it also has the affinity to roll to the closest point of the core. That means that you can use it as a level measure tool, by adjusting the floor so that the ball doesn’t roll on a flat surface you’ll be able to make a perfectly levelled floor anywhere you want!
The other two in that list are also overpowered. The power from rogal and invincibility from Princess is really useful and it's almost impossible to have as much fun without them. Yes, I know hardcore players have to go without, but my hardcore world somehow broke and I can have snails now.
Yes the research aide pods can give you technology ones that give you 7,000 bytes but there are research aide pods on Desolo on the surface that take sphalerite and give you researches that are 6,900 bytes, what's good about this one is it gives you more bytes per minute and is quicker than the other one. There are also research samples in Atrox's caves that give you 600 bytes each.
Tip 36: The easiest way to get this many EXO caches is to run rails to the Mantle Cave Layer of the planet you're based on, and collect any nearby caches. Load them onto a train and easily send 5 at a time to the surface. All of the required resources can be found on Sylva, and are low in byte cost.
"Don't go to Vesania in the early game" Me going to Vesania 5 minutes after starting the game with a full inventory of cables to explore caves, and coming back 10 minutes latter with almost 40k bytes and saving hours of a boring grind to be able to research stuff.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer I just don't like glacio at all, i guess most don't like as well, that wind noise is sickening, the caves itself are easier to run around, but the planet is a big meh
PRO TIP The best tip I have found out is that you can grab object from much larger distance if you equip your tool before you grab it. That saved me so much headache when trying to grab stuff that are falling down the caves without going down to grab it (also it allows you some epic mid air grab moments that you feel good about yourself), and also its easy to organize large bases without moving so much. I thought this should be worthy mention to this top 50
For tip 17, while walking around with the small shuttle, I use the thruster slot with a storagepart as well, and continue to use this system with tier-uppin.
A tip I found is the hover board removes carry weight powered on unpowered, so you can move while holding an XL item like a shuttle or XL windmills unencumbered.
for number 31, it is indeed true you can find working XL's as ive recovered 2 fully working XL wind turbines before, you can also recover working rtgs from field shelter wrecks
9:00 small funfact! If you place soil with your drill you will accidentally collect the reasource around it on a large area, I did this in an astronium deposit and got 4 containers
2:36 7th tip. I like calidor as my second base because it has Sufule, Copper, and Tungsten. Which the copper can be used as solar panels and tungsten for median generalers. And you get like a 2-3x solar power output than most planets and not to mention the 24/7 solar power glitch with the north pole
I usually like to go to Novus. Iron for me atmospheric condenser, lithium for medium batteries, high winds and high solar. Plus methane, necessary for silicon, which is necessary for a HUB. Which I like to use since it gives me a constant supply of oxygen en power. Even if I didn't go there with an rocket but via the core transport system
I disagree, Vesania is often the first planet i visit for early lithium.. Getting medium batteries down so my base can still run with no wind/solar power makes life SOOO much easier
Glowsticks are made of organic, which can be extracted from trees for free without damaging the terrain. Glowsticks can be scrapped. Infinite everything achieved.
Regarding the tip #50, you can enter into a slide on slanted surface with flat tool + wide and you will get near core in just a few seconds. All you have to do is make the slope a bit steeper from time to time and repeat
Man, most of the world is missing out on Astroneer. It's literally the BEST video game, and nobody i know plays it (except my friends who i made buy it). Thanks for doing awesome content like this, and hopefully dragging people into the fanbase. :)
I have found an Extra Large wind turbine on Vanessa shortly after unlocking the VTOL. I was surprisingly close to my base on the edge of a large hill. The fact that I found it on the windiest planet was cool as well. It was not deployed and had some other junk and scrap around it along with an abandoned backpack. 😁👍
I can confirm that you can get XL wind turbines and even solar arrays but you can also rarely find working RTGs and medium batteries on field shelter debris
I had a scrapper inside my auto dynamite factory on calidor, one day i misclicked and shredded some dynamite. That was the biggest hole I have ever seen in the game
I have my EXO request platform next to my XL Shredder. I have come very close to shredding full canisters of Nanocarbon Alloy. I need to move it before the inevitable happens. BTW, this was during A.M.P.P 2023.
Over a thousand hours in this game and I did not know about that action with the extenders to turn off the flow direction 🙃 Even the Wiki doesn't mention this
I'm impressed to learn that anyone has more hours than me. I was really insecure about it. I thought I was the only one. Also, yes. I just recently learned that. I just so happened to notice an action available on it.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamerI've been playing this game for years now (it was on Xbox at first so I don't have the hours logged) but I hadn't noticed it till recently either. Maybe it's new? It's defo been about a year since I last played.
Don't take this as an insult but I really like how "human" you are in your videos, like in a lot of other astroneer tip video it just feels like a wiki is talking to you and it can get kind of annoying but with you it feels like a friend letting you know all the cool stuff he found
btw you can expand all storage using both the large storage silo B in conjunction with medium storage silos, thing is the items clip into each other but they don't mess with each other usually I use this method for when I'm mass producing, but obviously since they gave us the resource canisters this method doesn't get used as often but considering that LSSB has 12 medium slots (technically 24 small slots) and that the regular medium silo has 24 small slots you can fill all 12 slots with these medium silos giving a total of 288 spaces very much an overkill but fill 144 with solar and 144 with wind and never worry about power production use 96 solar 96 wind and 96 small batteries and you'll have yourself an amazing power bank but I doubt you'd want to actually make multiple, or need to
Fun fact, since the introduction of Tapper, you can actually make an automatic infinite scrap generator. You need to go to a planet with Sulphur gas, bring some tappable plants. Plant, then tap the plants to get organic, cook it in the furnace to get carbon, mix with sulphur, to make explosive powder. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT MAKE IT INTO DYNAMITE. instead make fireworks, they take 1 powder. Each firework makes 0.5 scap.
Haven't played in a while so not sure if it's a thing but can you craft glowsticks in the small printer? If so why not just craft and scrap glowsticks?
you can remotly (or when other sertian conditions are met) detonate a dynamite by placing it on a small furnace and just connection it to power when you want to set if off. Can also be used if you want to detonate it when day hits or when the wind comes or goes)
Very interesting timing, as I just took several weeks to go in-game and deeply explore all cave layers of every planet. Surprisingly, the technology items aren't even the best. Atrox has a mineral item in its lowest layer worth 14k bytes. They're also pretty common down there.
On glacio in some of the large wreck, you can find pretty much the exact materials you need to make a large shuttle or even a drill mod 3. Another thing, DO NOT SKIP OVER THE FIELD SHELTER DEBRIS ON GLACIO! Most of them i find either have a medium batterg or a WHOLE RTG! Just bring a packager, hope you get lucky and BAM you have an rtg that you can get early game.
For early game power. We can plant trees, auto arm the organic to a smelter then atuto arm the carbon to a medium storage on a large curved platform. Then put 4 medium generators on same platform. Two on either side of storage. Will make 36 power minus the power for the smelter..
Also for early game, if you throw the research samples into the research chamber (once you’ve gotten it and built it) will give you a lot more points for each of those items than just researching it on the spot. Not a massive help but not bad if you have some space to take them back and want more points.
did I miss automating research? did he even mention it? go down in a cave, set up a auto grabber to grab the tiny research from where it RESPAWNS and have it drop into a researcher. Bonus points for having a Tapper set up nearby with a grabber that dumps it into a smelter with a medium generator or two to power everything constantly. Infinite power and Infinite Research, thats 2 more tips for you. Oh, also you can research Organic. So, 3 tips.
I've gone over a load of auto-research techniques in many other tip video types. I debated putting some here, but I didn't want to recycle content because that's stinky.
About blowing up Exo boxes... If you are careful in stacking, you can create stacks of 5, and arrange them in a 3x3 stack configuration. After that, place your bomb on the middle-most box, and blow ALL of them up at once... Stand back, as it does create quite the large crater. It seems the boxes have a small amount of explosive power, too!! So, I have yet to find a limit to the number of boxes you can blow up with one bomb. As long as you stack carefully, I can see the potential for blowing up 100 or more at once, with just one bomb....... Your frame-rates are going to be in trouble, though... LOL!
Early game with small shuttle use a med storage where the oxygen generator goes to increase load capacity. You can take the oxy gen along package if you want but your shuttle provides oxy without it. Just can't tether from it but you can haul the shuttle as you explorer. I prioritize research points for the packager first. Makes hauling research samples and other things much easier.
1/1.5 small wind is 1/3 scrap while 1/5mediumWind and 1/10 large wind are both 0.3 scrap. This accounts for direct soil conversion when more efficient.
i highly recommend making auto byte farms instead of using 8 stacks of tethers because you can be on a different planet doing something else and your bytes will skyrocket. i like making mine by putting a proximity repeater on top of a delay repeater and put it next to a scan sample spawning area (dont forget to set the delay repeater to 25 ticks)
The medium wind is actually just barely better cost wise, as in pure scrap cost of the materials for each the medium is cheaper (0.5 per small 1.5 per medium, but small only giving 1.5 u/s and medium 5 u/s)
The dual proximity buttons is the fastest most efficent way to get bytes. Drop two and they activate each other endlessly at no cost and will immediately activate the portable bytes as soo as they spawn.
I have actually found a use for glowsticks :P They're infinite scrap, but you can only craft them from your inventory. Still can be useful when establishing a base on a new planet.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer they do wig out occasionally, usually when reopening a save. Delay repeaters are reliable when set up religiously (tether to ground between points, etc)
I need some advice with "filling holes smoothly". Lets say there is a natural curve in an area or I want to make a natural curve. It's not a true flat nor is it meant to be flat, just general trerrain touch-ups. I find that if I use the dig, build or flatten modes, all of it tends to make really bad terrain. And there doesn't seem to be a drill mod for "smooth terrain". . . what would your advice be for that. Also, the BIGGEST tip I found is that you can tilt your camera up or down in drill-car to change the angle you are drilling at. It makes traversal SOOO much easier when I found that out.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer Do have any videos on how you make buildings? Like, legit structures out of terrain? I saw yout level block tutorial, but not one on "terrain base building". I know one would just be an expansion on the other, but if you don't already have it, I think it would make for a great deep-dive video.
34.5 14:o5 the ball's pattern looks awfully similart to a visor or skin (cant remember name) that had a moving dotted pattern, besides that its probably just a lore item seeing as it has a description like artifacts and doesnt have any attachment points No idea what the rift effects could be tho UPDATE: i found one in my save on novus and it can be placed on platforms maybe it is researchable ill try to find out UPDATE (final): i wasnt able to research it all i was able to do with it was transport it and change it by pressing f with that rift effect
"Tip 15: Even if you used your soil centrifuge, then somehow teleported to another planet…” Hey so… ever heard of a gateway chamber? It can be used to teleport as well as be a true-flat location.
Ready for an information load? Because I went a little [too] wild with this one... You can find XL wind turbines already finished, but they end up being more likely to find on Atrox surprisingly rather than Glacio. At least, that's how my world generations have been. The LRD is just lore stuff. If you hover over it without activating it, it gives you a log reading. Nanocarbon alloy is a very common spawn in wrecks on Atrox. I have no idea what the chance of it is, but it's about... 84% (15 out of 18) when I tested it? You will find diamonds on pretty much every single one of them (I've only seen diamonds not be there once in all my years of playing). Atrox's wrecks are just OP. For the flattening tool into the caves, you don't need to actually use a wide mod, because the normal drill by itself is slightly larger than an Astroneer. I still use it all the time anyway, because why turn or take it off when you have enough power for it? Very devious with the last tip there 😉 You should tell people to not just leave your stuff on the ground, though. If it's a big save, all the loading and movement of them makes it take even more space. Also (and I'm not saying this is better, because it can be slow unless you are used to it), when you play with a controller, the game will auto highlight the closest thing in your view. Hence, you can see what you can activate (like the extenders from directional to networked), instead of needing to hover over it to see if it can be messed with or not. Also, you need to know the auto backpack, otherwise it takes forever to but something in your backpack.
I feel like it's more fun to go out exploring and bring back all of the power sources I find. Just looking at all of the mismatched power sources at my base probably shows that. Maybe I should organize my power better. Organize. If you look at my base you'll think that's a 4 letter word around there.
Surprised you didn’t mention converting gasses. If you put a gas in the smelter it will convert it into the gas with next highest atomic mass 👍
How foolish of me! This is my favorite one!

And yes, you would have all the missions done already, because that's the only way to actually unlock the line.
I was in creative. Often when I make videos, I duplicate my survival save and make the duplicate creative, so that's likely why it was unlocked.
30) When using Solar AND wind put a splitter that drives the power to a single node so as long as there is power either from solar or wind the button will be off, when power from both of them runs out, the generator(s) will turn on.
I happen to be a darn idiot it would seem.
30 If you run the wind and solar through a battery then attach the Power Sensor to the battery it can be used to trigger the Generator when neither wind or sunshine is available (or even if their is insufficient power provided by wind or sun)
PS Use an Extender between the Battery and the Generator to stop the power going back to the Battery which will trigger the Generator on/off rapidly.
I think I used a battery back when I first made a video on this, but my tactic was wonky so I just decided to simplify it so my worm brain could keep up.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer
Yes, I remember that episode and never looked into it any further.
Just connect as follows:
Wind Turbine > Solar Panel > Power Sensor > Extender > Generator > Machinery.
That would be good in early game then, as Mdm Batteries become available, place them before the Power Sensor so that the Generators don't turn on until the Batteries have been drained.
@@tassie7325 This is probably the best way to do it. Quite a satisfying result you've achieved.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer
To be quite honest, I seldom, if ever, use the generators.
I found 1 on Vesenic once.
That last tip is a real killer 👍👍👍
Best tip of the lot
I discovered that about dynamite on my own. I had printed like 100 or so and they were all near the shredder.
It straight up teleported all my stuff into another dimension.
Pretty neat.
I watch a lot of guides/tips/tricks videos for various games throughout my gaming hobby and this is one of the best ones. Quick edits, good humor, no annoying music, useful tips. Nice job!
Medium Generator is king when it comes to unlimited continues power after the tapper update.
That's a highly nuanced tip. Very interesting.
I disagree with not going to calidor because once you have the snails quests you can go get Stilgar which gives infinite oxygen.
The other two in that list are also overpowered. The power from rogal and invincibility from Princess is really useful and it's almost impossible to have as much fun without them. Yes, I know hardcore players have to go without, but my hardcore world somehow broke and I can have snails now.
There's also the rails quests
Ew
It generates a lot of scraped scrappers at the end
Tip 41 gives me an idea…
Yes the research aide pods can give you technology ones that give you 7,000 bytes but there are research aide pods on Desolo on the surface that take sphalerite and give you researches that are 6,900 bytes, what's good about this one is it gives you more bytes per minute and is quicker than the other one. There are also research samples in Atrox's caves that give you 600 bytes each.
Also if you go to Atox there is a chance to find
nanocarbon alloy
Steel
Titanium alloy
And/or a full can of helium/sulfur/methane, in spaceship debris
In Atrox's core, some research samples yeild 1100+ bytes.
"Don't go to Vesania in the early game"
Me going to Vesania 5 minutes after starting the game with a full inventory of cables to explore caves, and coming back 10 minutes latter with almost 40k bytes and saving hours of a boring grind to be able to research stuff.
I’d recommend doing this on Glacio instead.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer I just don't like glacio at all, i guess most don't like as well, that wind noise is sickening, the caves itself are easier to run around, but the planet is a big meh
PRO TIP
The best tip I have found out is that you can grab object from much larger distance if you equip your tool before you grab it.
That saved me so much headache when trying to grab stuff that are falling down the caves without going down to grab it (also it allows you some epic mid air grab moments that you feel good about yourself), and also its easy to organize large bases without moving so much.
I thought this should be worthy mention to this top 50
I forgot about this.
tip no. 51: skip small and medium shuttle
For tip 17, while walking around with the small shuttle, I use the thruster slot with a storagepart as well, and continue to use this system with tier-uppin.
A tip I found is the hover board removes carry weight powered on unpowered, so you can move while holding an XL item like a shuttle or XL windmills unencumbered.
this is useful!
for number 31, it is indeed true you can find working XL's as ive recovered 2 fully working XL wind turbines before, you can also recover working rtgs from field shelter wrecks
I've also found fully functional solar arrays on Calidor.
@@jamesallen5268 there are those too, and they're very helpful when found
9:00 small funfact! If you place soil with your drill you will accidentally collect the reasource around it on a large area, I did this in an astronium deposit and got 4 containers
The last tip REALLY HEPLED me early game THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
@@Rosebakker5242 yea I love novus is the second base I set up once I get a infinite hydrozine farm set up on calidor
11:42 the tapper: allow me to introduce myself
I disagree, Vesania is often the first planet i visit for early lithium.. Getting medium batteries down so my base can still run with no wind/solar power makes life SOOO much easier
did this but forgot to actually mine sphalerite before i lift sooooooo
Glowsticks are made of organic, which can be extracted from trees for free without damaging the terrain. Glowsticks can be scrapped. Infinite everything achieved.
yea, that tapper thing are very powerful in early and mid game
That’s actually incredibly sad. XD
I have over a thousand as well and never knew that. i would always use the med platform a as an extender cause of that. hahaha
@@dolan660 Yeah, I actually didn't know that before this video. Very new discovery, indeed.
Don't take this as an insult but I really like how "human" you are in your videos, like in a lot of other astroneer tip video it just feels like a wiki is talking to you and it can get kind of annoying but with you it feels like a friend letting you know all the cool stuff he found
I would never take this as an insult. I try to balance out making sense and not being boring about it.
I'm glad you think I succeed at this.
I would like to add to the last tip:
Smelting gasses/hydrazine is extremely useful in a co-op session.
btw you can expand all storage using both the large storage silo B in conjunction with medium storage silos, thing is the items clip into each other but they don't mess with each other
usually I use this method for when I'm mass producing, but obviously since they gave us the resource canisters this method doesn't get used as often
but considering that LSSB has 12 medium slots (technically 24 small slots) and that the regular medium silo has 24 small slots
you can fill all 12 slots with these medium silos giving a total of 288 spaces
very much an overkill but fill 144 with solar and 144 with wind and never worry about power production
use 96 solar 96 wind and 96 small batteries and you'll have yourself an amazing power bank
but I doubt you'd want to actually make multiple, or need to
Fun fact, since the introduction of Tapper, you can actually make an automatic infinite scrap generator.
That glowsticks comment earned you a sub, that was hilarious
The splitter useing only 1 output is also good to show you how much power your useing. Assuming all your power comes in form one spot.
you can remotly (or when other sertian conditions are met) detonate a dynamite by placing it on a small furnace and just connection it to power when you want to set if off. Can also be used if you want to detonate it when day hits or when the wind comes or goes)
Btw at glacios deep mantle has op 11k research nodes and the samples are about 800 😊
Very interesting timing, as I just took several weeks to go in-game and deeply explore all cave layers of every planet.
Surprisingly, the technology items aren't even the best. Atrox has a mineral item in its lowest layer worth 14k bytes. They're also pretty common down there.
I have in fact seen an XL Wind Turbine fully working around some scrap before. Found it on Glacio
19:15 Counterpoint: Glowsticks are useful as universal dummy items for sorters, as well as for turning organic into scrap with the player’s help
This is funny because I actually use glowsticks as dummy items for sorters all the time. XD
11:22 "but thats not the point, the point is to point it out" i love it xdddd
With the mini wind turbines, put them on either a medium storage or a storage silo, then put all thos on the large silos. Even more power
My favorite tip is when you use the flatten terrain mode on recources you get waaay more efficient mining
For early game power. We can plant trees, auto arm the organic to a smelter then atuto arm the carbon to a medium storage on a large curved platform. Then put 4 medium generators on same platform. Two on either side of storage. Will make 36 power minus the power for the smelter..
Just still use XL wind turbines because a lot of look nice spanning the horizon of my base. Who cares if they’re more inefficient they look nice.
This is how I feel as well.
the last one is really useful, thanks for telling people about it
That upside down polar solar tip is really good
YES if you put a dynamite in a shredder you can get SO much scrap! I’m surprised not many people use it
It gives like 14 doesn't it 😊
fr best way to get scrap
Its such a good method for scrap i placed about 5 or 6 scrap machines all around my base so I’m scrapping all the time :)
Imagine the one person who actually thinks this would be fake when it’s actually like really good
It blew up everything :(
Also for early game, if you throw the research samples into the research chamber (once you’ve gotten it and built it) will give you a lot more points for each of those items than just researching it on the spot. Not a massive help but not bad if you have some space to take them back and want more points.
Yes. It triples the yield.
did I miss automating research? did he even mention it? go down in a cave, set up a auto grabber to grab the tiny research from where it RESPAWNS and have it drop into a researcher.
Near the center of atrox you can find research samples that can be scanned for 1000 bytes and larger researchable items that give 14000 bytes
i highly recommend making auto byte farms instead of using 8 stacks of tethers because you can be on a different planet doing something else and your bytes will skyrocket. i like making mine by putting a proximity repeater on top of a delay repeater and put it next to a scan sample spawning area (dont forget to set the delay repeater to 25 ticks)
Now Tappers energy kings.
Tapper big fat op.
Number 12 is probably due to divide-by-zero issues for the ones who dosent know
You can find XL wind turbines I’ve found 2 so far on glacio
I can't stop laughing at the fact that at 2:25 he cuts off himself.
Sometimes I get lost in the details. XD
For power late game, use 2 rtgs and like 20 medium batteries, and the solar panel from a crashed satellite that give you like 65 powet
13:00 One time on Glacio I did find an XL, but then a plant blew me and the turbine up, sending it into the stratosphere. I was not happy.
i love how hes like "always scrap ur dynamite!"
i have seen this from experience
its not very good
13:03 I did find a working XL wind turbine just in my most recent playthrough
Best research advice I can give is that you can research the gas from the atmospheric condenser. Meaning enough power = infinite research.
tip 38 was the best.
finally i can download friends
another tip is that you can reach stuff 5x farther away if you have your digger out and shift click on something
Can confirm that you can find XL windmills on Vesania, for me it was near spawn
I should have checked the comments for the dynamite "tip" half my base gone including my extra large shredder 😭😭😭
Just posted the clip 😭😭😭
The medium wind is actually just barely better cost wise, as in pure scrap cost of the materials for each the medium is cheaper (0.5 per small 1.5 per medium, but small only giving 1.5 u/s and medium 5 u/s)
The dual proximity buttons is the fastest most efficent way to get bytes. Drop two and they activate each other endlessly at no cost and will immediately activate the portable bytes as soo as they spawn.
Yes, but if you do many of those it may be laggy. That’s why I prefer to recommend the slower clock.
honestly, I knew most of these. I do very funny things like putting thousands of hydrogen on desolo and putting some in a furnace next to it.
I have actually found a use for glowsticks :P They're infinite scrap, but you can only craft them from your inventory. Still can be useful when establishing a base on a new planet.
For tip 31, I have found XL wind generators in Glacio.
Tomorrow ima try to scrap explosives like you said I should do
Don’t do it. I lied to you. I lied to you all!
im still going to do it i wanna see what happends
The button repeater wigs out when distant.
Do the proximity repeaters?
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer they do wig out occasionally, usually when reopening a save. Delay repeaters are reliable when set up religiously (tether to ground between points, etc)
You get access to the fault finder by completing the new awakening quest line, and then you can craft it and do the finding thing.
I would try the narrow mod for fixing terrain. That’s about all I can think of.
I always wanted to make one. I just might. I explained it a little in the space station video.
Good video! Just started playing yesterday and was very confused with no tutorial or Hud.
34.5 14:o5 the ball's pattern looks awfully similart to a visor or skin (cant remember name) that had a moving dotted pattern, besides that its probably just a lore item seeing as it has a description like artifacts and doesnt have any attachment points
No idea what the rift effects could be tho
UPDATE: i found one in my save on novus and it can be placed on platforms maybe it is researchable ill try to find out
UPDATE (final): i wasnt able to research it all i was able to do with it was transport it and change it by pressing f with that rift effect
Glowsticks can be very useful to mark a path without needing to make sure tether lines connect.
I refuse this notion.
you can bring a packager too and repackage the 50% engine and unpack it right away
doing that makes the engine 100% again
No way! I tried the dynamite thing and it gave me four scrap! So cool!
Lol I did the dynamite before because I was just curios and it just caused utter chaos when I just organized my base
They made me say that stuff, bro.
and with great shredders come great explosions
tip 27. i would actually recommend making the boost mod first for the soil centrifuge quest
"Tip 15: Even if you used your soil centrifuge, then somehow teleported to another planet…”
Hey so… ever heard of a gateway chamber?
Very devious with the last tip there 😉
You should tell people to not just leave your stuff on the ground, though.
I feel like it’s more fun to make the bigger wind turbines instead of spamming the small ones
So do I
I feel like it's more fun to go out exploring and bring back all of the power sources I find. Just looking at all of the mismatched power sources at my base probably shows that. Maybe I should organize my power better. Organize. If you look at my base you'll think that's a 4 letter word around there.
