Thank you for riding, shooting, editing and posting this super fun ride. I’m training for an upcoming local 60 mile “Gravel Roubaix” and this is perfect for being stuck indoors. Potholes, quicksand, mud spray - it’s so helpful in thinking all of those through.
Thanks for sharing.
I did the 18 mile and it was EPIC! Can’t wait to do it again.
That looks like fun!
Now on to the classic Paris-Roubaix bike race on April 17th. Known as "The Hell of the North".
That sounds awesome! Wish I could go! Not sure if I would survive it though! :-)
I bet you can’t wait to ride Barry Roubaix all over again! Miserable rides become more endearing AFTER you’re done. 🤓
That looks tough, do you ride year round in Michigan ?
I only do a few races throughout the year in Michigan, it’s a bit of drive for me. Traffic can get real bad in NW Indiana and NE Illinois.
Do you have a favorite gravel or cyclocross tire?
Barry Roubaix actually sucks compared to gravel races in 2022
Why being so negative? I enjoyed racing with other 2500 riders and I’m pretty sure that they did too!
