How did you not know it was single stage paint? Please explain that to me. I have used single stage and clear on a repair but neither one on top the other, you know meet in the middle on a panel. My brother and I did many cars in our younger days until life gets in the way. Keep up the good work, its great to see two brothers working together.

V cut it and you will be ok. Block the hood and you will be fine. Just guide coat it and it will tell you your low spots and then rock on! Good Job!

I can go on for hours. But I will say that badly repairing a fiberglass body that has already had bad repairs done to it does this car absolutely no justice.

Happy. Happy with a paint job that I will give a year before you start seeing cracking, lifting, and or bubbling in the paint. The biggest mistake that people make when restoring a Vette is thinking that you can get away with doing the same thing that you would do to a steel bodied car. Look. I I can go on and on but I hate typing so I will tell you guys this. There are many websites and UA-cam videos that are dedicated especially to doing this type of car. Google is your friend here. You say that that is what the guy wants. What will you do when it returns with the problems I mentioned. You guys obviously enjoy what you do. Doesn’t it make sense to become the best you can be at it or just another half ass body shop? BTW I am a retired auto body tech who has spent over 30 years in the business and fiberglass work and Corvettes were my specialty. Good guys .

Yeah I understand! And that’s cool that you know all about them and I don’t have the time to do it perfectly, I’m still in school and work full time. But I’ll look into it and try to correct my mistakes.. I don’t do this full time it’s just a hobby!

This Job is being done on what the owner can afford man, it’s not a full blown restoration and no we don’t have 40 years of fiberglass repair or fixing corvettes but we try our best, Thanks for the view we always accept criticism good or bad if you have any pointers or advice let us know man!!! Thanks
