I have the hardest time with weekly reviews. They take 2-4 hours every time and they still feel unfinished when I’m done with them. It’s 10:00 on a Saturday. I’m going to spend the entire day (8-10 hours) doing my weekly review just to see if I can get myself in line. Maybe then, next week will be easier.

    Hi Francesco.
I also have a checklist in Evernote for my weekly review, I duplicate that file and check off what I'm done. I have such items as go through in Todoist the soon tag, check calendar, tickler notebook in Evernote, etc. I do it on Friday morning, when no kids are home... for me it is more than a half hour... :D

Enjoyed your video.I complete a weekly review, but mine lasts longer. Mostly bcz mine covers work, home/family, and personal allat same time.

You can see them at 2:29, but I took the liberty to transcribe them (minus a section on UA-cam that seems particular to Francesco):
      CORE ELEMENTS
      HEALTH
1.) Am I heading in the direction I want to be going?
2.) Am I living a healthy and clean lifestyle?
3.) Do I feel present in the moment?
4.) What are 3 - 5 things I could be doing to improve this?
      CAREER
1.) Are my short-term goals mapping to my long-term goals?
2.) Am I inspired by what I do?
3.) What has inspired me this week?
4.) What has annoyed me this week, and how can I improve on it?
5.) Am I getting annoyed with the speed of my progress?
6.) Did I work the hardest I could this week? If not, what stopped me?
      FAMILY
1.) Am I communicating well enough?
2.) Do I need to be making a better effort to spend time with my family?
3.) Am I fully present when I am with my family?
4.) What are a few things I can do to improve time spent?
      NEW THINGS
1.) Did I learn a new phrase in a language?
2.) Did I review a situation before judging it?
3.) Did I try something new this week?
4.) Did I experience something new this week?
5.) Did I reach out to a new subscriber and thank them?

Hi, can you make a video about todoist subtasks and how actually it works with a brief explanation? thanks. Love your videos :)

I am really worried about the colour of that tea. :)

Great video, but I think there's a reason David Allen prefers the adjective "weekly". Every time you say "week review", it sounds like you're describing a review that's not very strong. ;)

Why do so many you tubers say GTD instead of saying the actual words?😂 Writing acronym is to make it easier to write it without having to write out all the rest of the words. We don’t need to abbreviate basic words when we speak.
