I lived in London for nine years as an Irish guy and discovered these theee books called London hidden walks. I would highly recommend you get them. It is the best way to see London trust me.
Absolutely. I did the whole box set worth of walks and it took me a while to get through them, but since I lived there I had the time, where as someone who is just passing through will only manage one or two walks. So yes it’s probably even better for a person living there.
@ no problem… if you do end up doing it… the first book is the best… the second is nearly as good and the third one is the least enjoyable (although it’s still good)
I love your travel videos. London is on my bucket list, and I’m so grateful for the chance to experience it through your videos for now. You’re really letting me live vicariously through your adventures, and I appreciate that so much! Thanks again for sharing these amazing journeys with us. Keep them coming!
Please post videos more frequently! Your videos are my weekly stress busters, and I feel I need to bust my stress at least twice a week 😂. Loved this one as always.
It's so cool to see you in places we have been. The Harry Potter Studio Tour was my wife's birthday treat last year. I'm not a fan but I loved the whole experience. The dragon in the bank was so cool. I love London. I can't wait to get back. IBrilliant again!
Best parts of London in my opinion is south london for different food culture and West London for shopping. I live an hour below London by train so obviously i go sometimes to London probably best Uk city capital of my country🇬🇧🏴
We have friends and family that live just outside of London. And london does have some hidden gems you don't have to spend a small fortune. It looks like you found some. Safe Travels and stay Healthy . Love Ya❤ From Harriet, Jim and Yuki Richmond, Va.
Livwd in London for years, visited many times and will be there this week. Always new hidden gems to visit and the Lush shop is on my list. Love, love the music choices in this vlog.
I agree with your thoughts on the British Museum. I was excited to see the Egypt section, but when I got there my opinion totally changed. Great Video!
Great vlog! But I must admit that Harry Potter is not my cup of tea.But I enjoyed London, been there myself eleven times. So thank you so much Phoebe for sharing!
Hiya! London like I’ve never seen it before, well that’s a big challenge you’re up to. You’re starting off in Kensington which is where I was last year. Mind the gap between the train and the platform. Oxford street is one of the best places in London. Indeed if people pass away, leave them to rest. Harry Potter is nice! Have you seen the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London theatre? You should wear that Harry Potter outfit all day, it suits you very well. Well you got me here, exploring London like I’ve never seen before, haven’t been at this Harry Potter place. Should get there someday! Thanks for sharing London once more, it’s an amazing city. Have an great week ahead 🤙
I used to live just down the road from the British Museum and made the mistake of visiting the mummy exhibit late in the day before walking home alone in the dark... #badlifechoice 🤣
thats weird how the Japan one would be better considering the British one is where it was all actually filmed as in sets.. Yad think itd be the most legit experience.
Cool. One day I’d love to visit Harry Potter studios. From your advice, Japan might be the one to go to. And it’s so much closer too. I’m worried about the crowds though. Is the one in Japan more crowded than the London one?
Yeah if I could only do one, it would be the one in Tokyo. I think the crowds were pretty similar, to be honest. Even if it were more crowded, I'd still recommend the Tokyo one as the better pick for sure!
i am loving your worldwide adventure its is amazing to watch. can i ask why you are moving on every 2 days is it better to do it this way? to see move save money etc. or are you feeling like you would want to stay longer. thanks in advance
I've always been fascinated by Egyptology but I totally agree. I can't help but hope that the curses were real as that is called karma for grave digging.
Went to the British Museum last year and to be honest the Egyptian section just made me think "why are so many of these artifacts in here and not in Egypt (and yes, still resting in state) ?" Did some research later and found yes, a lot of them were taken without too much in the way of permission. Hopefully with the massive new Egyptian Museum opening this year some of them might find their way back.
Loved London when we visited earlier this year! Being from NYC it just reminded us of home, just older. Could definitely live there! 😊 Looks like you had such a fun time there with your friend! ❤ Some cool places to try on our next trip. 😉
If I were a mummy then there is nothing better I would like than to be dug up a few thousand years later and put in a light filled glass cabinet ... there to see all the wonders that have happened since they wrapped me up in bandages and locked me in a pitch black airless tomb. 👍
hahaha the truth is I only film 2-3 days in each place I visit. I'm often there longer but make sure I have time where I'm not filming so I can be present and really enjoy it :) I learned many years ago that this isn't just about UA-cam videos or content, it's my life and I have to make sure I'm not just living it through the lens of a camera. I share what I feel comfortable with and the rest is for living :) a healthier balance, I think!
The British museum ? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, The British doesn't have any museum in England. The British have world artifacts in the British museum. The English taken ( or stolen artifacts ) from all over the world. Yes the British have stone made tools from the Neanderthals period on display in the British museum. I apologized to you, for correcting this mistake.
I visited England a few years ago and took a visit to the British Museum so allow me to correct you. There are large collections from Britain in the British Museum. Loads of artefacts from Roman Britain, the amazing Sutton Hoo ship burial artefacts. There's lots of other objects from the Stone Age ( you got that bit right), Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman period, Early Mediaeval, Mediaeval and Renaissance.
@@robertdnero2217 , 🤣🤣🤣, If you say so. English are trouble makers, and the americantz took your place after your people surrender to the americantz. You people are laughable. Keep up the front. 🤣🤣🤣 !
I lived in London for nine years as an Irish guy and discovered these theee books called London hidden walks. I would highly recommend you get them. It is the best way to see London trust me.
Would you recommend them for a Londoner? The three book box set looks like a great gift 👍
Absolutely. I did the whole box set worth of walks and it took me a while to get through them, but since I lived there I had the time, where as someone who is just passing through will only manage one or two walks. So yes it’s probably even better for a person living there.
Thank you so much for the tip!! I love it!
@ no problem… if you do end up doing it… the first book is the best… the second is nearly as good and the third one is the least enjoyable (although it’s still good)
Phoebe, I am very happy for you. Recovering from your break up, and travelling the world

As a London boy this is a great video & loved your UK tour 👍
Thank you so much 😁

Oh noooo! This video came a day to late. I was just in London haha
noooooo! JUST missed you seeing it in time :) Hope you had a great trip!
I can feel the fun from the video. London is very far from Tokyo where I live. Thank you.😊
That makes me so happy :)

Thank you so much :)
When I visited London last year with a tour group (EF Ultimate break), some of the group members did the Harry Potter tour. They had so much fun!
How was the tour?? Love a good recommendation :)
we are so arrogant to pull the mummies out from their resting places, you’re quite right :)
I had 5nights in London. still didnt explore too much. really need to go back.
Just a great reason to go back again :)
@travelforphoebe 100%. Just need the 15k now, lmfao.
I agree with your thoughts on the British Museum. I was excited to see the Egypt section, but when I got there my opinion totally changed. Great Video!
YES that's exactly what happened! I was so excited and then I got there and felt suuuuuper weird about it!
Great vlog! But I must admit that Harry Potter is not my cup of tea.But I enjoyed London, been there myself eleven times. So thank you so much Phoebe for sharing!
WOW that's a LOT of London visits :)
I love how you find these simple, cheap, delicious things and places in these cities👌🏻👍 nice to see you having a bit of fun in the girly store 💃🏼

Awesome episode . London is definitely on my bucket list 😊
So glad London is in your bucket list!

Nah not oxford street its a tourist trap and too expensive. South london and west London are better then Westminster
Chinatown is good though and Borough market and Victoria theatre
thanks so much Felix :) hope you've been well! P
Girl your soundtrack is on point!
Thank youuuuu :)
Love London.. there’s so much to do and food scene just keeps getting better.. the only problem is the exchange rate of the pound 😂
YES totally agree on BOTH fronts hahaha that exchange rate kills me every time. I just tap my card and try not to think about it hahaha
Ah, this video is just a few weeks late for me! I was in London last
Month. 😀 You always have great videos.
Hope you had a great visit :)
London - yes, kind of vibey for about 3 weeks...of summer. For me that was all.
hahahahahahahahaha this cracked me up :)
Your videos are always the best. Thank you, Phoebe.
Thank you so much :)
Sounds like someone needs to come to Austin or San Antonio and have some Breakfast Tacos!!!!! Excellent Vlog as always, FiBi.

I heading back to London early next year, I'll make sure to stop at one these places that you went to.
You're going to have a great time :)
Good morning Phoebe!
Oh hey!
I used to live just down the road from the British Museum and made the mistake of visiting the mummy exhibit late in the day before walking home alone in the dark... #badlifechoice 🤣
Gracious lots of love from India

Wow great to see you on my road …. never had those at Grainger … will go right now and have a bite 🤗

Feel the same way about the mummies, let them rest in peace 😕
right?!
Hi, Phoebe 👋.❤
oh hey!
Think you might need to apologise to Chris Broad from Abroad in Japan for using the music he is renowned for in his videos
hahaha sounds like also has a subscription to Epidemic Sound!

9:45 are they really the mummies though or just replicas? I do agree though they shouldnt be digging up the deceased to put them on show
I've always been fascinated by Egyptology but I totally agree. I can't help but hope that the curses were real as that is called karma for grave digging.
RIGHT?!
❤❤❤
Ha, I find these mummies fascinating! Ha
😂 I’m terrified of a curse! 🤪
Hi hon are you vegan? Just wondering as your food looks amazing at Grangers but couldn't find what you ate on the menu. Hugs ❤😊
Hey love! No, I'm not vegan :)

Hi,
Where was the Lush cafe,Oxford Street?
Yup! That’s the one! It’s amazing 😻
I75 Oxford Street. Close to Carnaby Street.
48 hours in all these amazing cities - how is that enough time to really enjoy it, just saying.
