- I booked my Honda NC750x DCT in for major service, like allways in Youles I had fantastic treatment by the staff the bike was well serviced and I could tell the difference when I rode it away, good dealer's and welcoming staff will allways get my custom THANK YOU
Bloody hell…what a horrible load of injuries…glad to see you’ve recovered👍
Hiya mate, mThanks for the video and a lok round Youles, They seem good folk, if I lived up your way I would deffo go there, I have had Schubert helmets for quite a few years with Pin Locks inserted and I have Never had a helmet visor steam up, dunno if Im just lucky or its the norm, try a good quality pin lock mate. Take care and ride safe.
Cheers Paul, maybe it's the helmets I've bought with the pinlock I think in bad weather they all fog up, but it's the 2nd layer that one leaves the top of the pinlock I allways end up looking at it👍👍👍 Have a great New Year
Great tips. Thank you. Might try that youles when I feel confident enough to go to Manchester..
AJ it's as easy as any road, where are you from, have a great 2025 ride safe👍👍👍
@birchwoodbiker Im from warrington but only ridden when hubby is with me. I tend to get lost! Will keep eye open for next meet. Hopefully I will be able to ride Storm then 😁
Happy new year Birchy…thank you for the videos, keep them coming please😀👍
@@hectorshouse7348 Thank you really appreciated
The best customer service I have ever had has been from the now liquidated 'Completely Motorcycles', or more to the point one of their salesmen (Kev Jones).
I could do with a trip to Youles as they have a nice Triumph Rocket iii Touring for sale....
Staff are part of the expierence👍👍👍
The best dealer for me has been the Harley dealer, I was hurt badly by a Kawasaki dealer and a royal Enfield only dealer who had the nerve to tell me what colour bike I was aloud to have , needless to say I did not by a bike from him and then he turned nasty on me , all that when I hadn’t rode a motorcycle for over 40 years. Other dealers when I made inquiries about bikes didn’t even respond to me . Hiscox are fantastic and so are Motoledgins.
@@MsDenver2 can I ask the area of the dealer and is it part of a big group, I had the same low quality service and won't deal with any of that company again 👍👍👍
Just returned to biking after decades out and enjoyed fantastic service from Sytner Motorrad in Shrewsbury + a two year warranty 👍…sounds like I struck lucky.
@@realstevieb7201 Even on my c400x Motrad BMW manchester were brilliant can't find a fault with them👍
amazing to me you got into IT and Network Engineering with just an NVQ. These days most places you need a degree. I’d never have got into it without 3 years at 9 grand a pop. Starting to see more apprenticeships now though which is great.
I carried on with microsoft and Cisco quals, but nothing beats hands on, I've come across people with degrees over the years and the good onces are far and few, but being honest for even me I now struggle to keep up with change, it's a young mans game, and the likes of Jim Findon who gave me the chance helped me to where I am👍👍👍
@ Yep I’m actually working at one of the big network product companies managing their global corporate network and still ended up doing the Cisco Quals despite having a Computer Networking degree. I learnt more on a 1 year paid internship than I did at University.
@@ds7700-c2j Uni is just a money making scam now, I've done 17 years in enterprise nerworking, working for Capita GB Group now gone, it's wrong there putting people into the debt, and the majority don't ever get a job in what they studied for, glad you doing well👍
All I wanted this year was a new pair of gauntlet leather gloves with 6 to 8 inch gauntlet with a drawstring closure made for winter. I still have a pair from 22 years ago and they are starting to decline of age. They also use winter glove liner that doesn't breath and makes my hands sweat.
As for fogging up,your helmet shield doesn't have the pins for pinlock? Also the divers I thought use to say spit in the goggles... I would look into what divers use there head gear shield. That's also why I wear a one piece hunters suit. I was thinking if guys go out and sit for hours on end in the cold, what do they wear. Got one and love it. The zipper need some deflection from the wind with another jacket, but it's been perfect for about 15 years.😊
@@BlakesPipes I would do the spitting, but the bike won't run well underwater🤣🤣🤣👍

That cb1100 looks well nice for £5000, a modern version of my 2 previous cb750k2s,.sorry to hear you carrying some old battle scars, the worst ive had 2 broken collar bones, same one, racing in mgp iom 1977 and road in 2000,over the bars both times both bikes written off, bought back and repaired,. I used to go to vip computers hardwick grange warrington when i was driving before i retired a couple of years ago,.anyway happy new year and cheers ,.
Thanks cabovermilk, love the name, Yes that CB really does look good, tried to get some rides on there own stock but not easy, hope your still riding, have a great year👍

It's great when you get good service it makes all the difference👍👍👍
Great videos as always but I think u definitely need a pin lock 😮😮😮😊😊
I think you could be right🤣🤣🤣👍
Be careful when buying from youles I bought a second hand triumph from manchester and i was stung the bike was in very poor condition bent levers scratches and scuffs and it was described as good condition i rang to complain the sales man didnt want to know so be very careful .
I've never had bad service but my bikes have been new also Honda, I would of returned it or asked for it to be fixed, the other thing to watch on all traders, they are not just px classed as trade sale, they don't do anything to them👍
@@birchwoodbiker I got shut in the end and now have a 23 plate nc750x dct very happy with the nc
Hi Paul, I use Muc Off visor clean and don't seem to have any problems? The lads seem very friendly and helpful at Youles makes a change these days sad to say. Does the bike feel better after the service? what were the potential problems they mentioned. Take care mate.
1 me not re plugging in the indicator🤣 2 my fog lights held on with cable ties and electrical tape, the Bike is much better I can feel the difference, 👍👍👍
Pin lock works for me
I'll be heading that way if my bodgets don't work🤣🤣🤣👍
For me, the best dealerships have been BMW, Honda and Yamaha. The worst by a country mile (which includes 3 dealerships in different parts of the country) has been Triumph.
You think they would want to do the best for you, but I think the ilk of some sales people are now stale in the industry, but life is getting harder for them👍👍👍
@birchwoodbiker I've bought 3 Triumphs over the years from dealerships, 2 brand new and one used. Because I've always saved up and not had any finance they just couldn't be bothered. The last one I bought was a Bonneville 120 Speedmaster paying about 15k. First of all they wanted me to collect it before all the extras had arrived and been fitted like the crash bars etc and then book it back in again when they arrived. It's a 150 mile round trip so I said I'll hang on thanks! Then on the big day of collection, they were pleasant enough but I was just handed the key and the guy just pointed to the bike outside and said "there it is" 😀. I sold it a couple of years after and I love Triumph bikes but I've not got one any more. I'm half looking for one but can't decide on what model and will try and find it at another brand's dealership!
@@paulyflyer8154 I think i'ts hard for the dealers to meet targets now, and I think that pressure shows on the sales people who really shouldn't be doing it, and I don't think it's a individual make, I won't say which dealer but I've bought and sent many bikes and people to them, just one bad apple for me has stopped me going back, it's sad, but its the age we now live in👍👍👍
Have you forgotten your BMW c400x Paul ? 👍🏿
@@desmiller4764 No it's a bike in the future I may go back to but it would be the GT version, I'm hoping to get a ride on the Honda adv 350 this year, but I don't think the spec and riding will be as good👍👍👍
@@desmiller4764 Happy New Year Des nice to hear from one of my 1st watchers👍👍👍

I'm hoping I have a better service from Honda than I did with Moto Guzzi, that's for sure! 🤞
I've never had a motaguzzi don't think I've rode them, don't think it's the dealer it's the staff that make it, and sometimes over time they can get better or worse👍👍👍
No chance for me.😅
No fun at all.. done all the ice riding I'm ever going to do ta very much!
