Yeah fingers crossed although I've heard mixed reports that it would cost up to 10 million pounds. So unfortunately it looks like it might be unlikely.
Came across your channel while researching places in Scotland. Some really cool vids. We are Scotland bound later in the year to meet up with some other guys. We subbed pop over and see some of our Explores.
This is just a couple of miles where I live, it's up on buildings at risk and has the potential for somebody who has a few million in the bank to restore it however no one wants to cause they just don't have the money. I saw the owner but wasn't allowed in the site there but was allowed a look around on the grounds, creepy as ever but so beautiful and mysterious. Really like the video here!!
Thanks Claire, this was actually from a couple of years ago but I've heard it is much more dangerous inside now. I'd love to be able to restore somewhere like this collectively as a community maybe one day!
+Abandoned Scotland yeah!! Did you go to Carmichael estate literally across the road and up the fields, behind the farm there's a secret valley and if you head up towards an old red brick house you find huge old steel gates leading to another abandoned mansion called 'Carmichael house' I think. Owned by the same owner, it was restored in 2000 for some of the bricks but it is literally a wreck and very interesting!
Its all fallen down on the inside we got in via a window but was really dodgy we heard a loud bang so safe to say we made a quick exit and my mate is convinced he heard a loud scream
Thanks Art Nouveau, we tend not to disclose locations as they can easily be destroyed. This one is very easily found though with some simple searching :). I believe the owner was a clothes designer at one point although it was very odd seeing these around the building. Some have claimed they have left a room and returned and they are in a different place...
Went go visit here a couple of months ago but arrived just as darkness was falling, there was no way we were walking through the forest especially when we had a bit of a stare down with a guy in a pickup truck driving the opposite way on the narrow road LOL
Another awesome building, it seems Scotland is full of those old massive places.
Thanks Ice Daemon, yeah there are hundreds of abandoned houses like this across Scotland. We've still got plenty to visit :)
Such a beautiful place! What a shame, I really hope someone will renovate it some day!!

I didn't get a chance Claire but that definitely sounds interesting! I'll need to check it out at some point.
+Abandoned Scotland let me know and I'll send you directions if you do!
Impressive Mansion!
It really is an impressive building, I feel like I say this a lot but it's a shame this one has been left like this!
Abandoned Scotland Yes, i agree, it's really sad...
What a beautiful building
It really is a beautiful building. I hope someone buys it with the intention of renovating / restoring it.
nice one would love to go back here again but out ill be as safe as it was the first time
Yeah this one is actually from a visit a couple of years ago. I've heard it has deteriorated quite a bit.

@@chrisgemmell2742 its such a shame that it was left to fall apart

Hi AS,
Thanks for another great film.
Where is this house located, and what purpose do you believe, did the mannequins serve?
Thanks...

+Abandoned Scotland
The non disclosure of locations makes sense of course.
As for the moveable mannequins.... I'm intrigued...
Nice puctures! where can i find this? is free to wisit?
I wouldn't recommend visiting now, over the last couple of years it has been badly damaged inside and is no longer safe.
That looks brilliant! I want to go c':
Yeah it really is an amazing place. Unfortunately the inside is very dangerous now though.
Really? Thats such a shame.. it looked so interesting;
Nice video, but creepy mannequins. :)
Great
Thanks GrapevineDFW
