Don’t usually comment, but as a Dutchie I feel like I must xD Great idea to go to the Jumbo supermarket instead of the expensive boutiques, they sell stuff you’d have to give up a kidney to afford when at the supermarket you find stroopwafels for 99 cents xD And I see you even got some Saint Nicholas snacks! (The ones in the bag). Overall Amsterdam is not an accurate representation of the country, but it is lovely in its own ways. Hope you had fun! Oh, by the way, here’s two ways to say “stroopwafels” They are syrup waffles, so you could say that I guess, but to pronounce it the Dutch way you would say: Strope-wāfels (with a little crisp to the r, if you will) :D
