What a performance and excellent listen!! I'm listening to David Lindley all day today, and yesterday.....and saving a library of his music to play again and again. This is a great recording and surprise, thank you!! RIP precious David Lindley 🙏🎵🎶✨
@ thrillcat editorial Many, many thanks for posting this gem of a concert. Mr Dave = A1 quality, Peace from the UK. Turn them speakers up full blast, play it all night long.
At about 46 minutes, Lindley talking about expecting to be punished Karmically for having "too much fun" reminds me of a Timbuk 3 song: "Shame On You, you're a disgrace to everyone/ Shame On You, you're having too much fun..."
Man I loved David's talents! In reference to 'karma', it's interesting what Holy Spirit penned thru Paul, "All things are permited; Yet not all things are benificial" And yet again, "All things in moderation" Truly, things to ponder on this long road I have traveled Thank you, David. Thank You, Lord for the "loan"
I'm a big Mr. Dave fan, so, THANKS. GE is finem too, but I don't collect him. Tuna fan too. Question: did the prior post have anything that this post doesn't have or can it be discarded?
@@thrillcat Never mind; I saw the performance video of Dave and was thinking there was also a shorter version of the audio. On another note, are you the singer in thrillcat and where was the peoples bar that got hit by the tornado?
I am friends with the guys from thrillcat, just adopted the name after the band called it quits. People's Bar & Grill was in Ames, Iowa (also where I first saw/met thrillcat). It was not hit by a tornado, it was torn down to be replaced by a CVS. It had been closed for several years.
I am totally with you skipwaytube I first heard Mr Dave "Playing Real Good" live in Tokyo with Hani Naser, also "Playing Even Better" (Live all over the place) As soon as I'd heard him on one of the British radio stations, I went out looking for them both (They took ages to find in the UK) But what an enormous sense of achievement when I finally bought them. Have accummulated everything of his that I've had the pleasure of hearing, Have recently acquired "Kaleidoscope - Bernice" I've always said "If it's got strings, Mr Dave can Play It" Peace from the UK.

Thrillcat - this counts as your good deed for the year. You can go be bad now.
On it.
I adore
David Linley was a genius
very fine.
I read somewhere years ago that the great speckled bird was a camouflaged World War II bomber plane.
First recorded in 1936.
