Thats cool how the body dropped onto tube chassis and wielded. Cages done right built into a truck are through the body and wielded to the frame and the body. Race trucks have tube chassis but only have fiberglass bodies that look like a truck but have no doors or glass etc.. This truck is or is like luxury prerunner of the best kind. A race truck that can be close to a Trophy Truck with the comforts of a standard truck. Things like doors, windows, glass, AC, heater, stereo plus nice GPS, race radios kind of things. All regular truck with the performance as close to a top notch race truck included. The dream I have and others I imagine. Some with $750K to spend on a truck take it off road at high speed.
I bought an old full size Bronco and later built the lower cost modern teck suspention and gusseted and plated and rebuilt the drive train I could with improved and known parts from others. I rebuilt the transfer case with improvements. Had my transmission built very strong, my gears and lockers done and upgraded engine a balanced and blueprinted engine built by one of the best. A full roller with MAF intake, injection AFR heads, new exaust etc.. A great stereo and all on King Shocks. Glass fenders, hood, bedsides along with core support headlights, grill changing the front end body from 87-92 to 93-96. So Far ! I still want to get a cage and a few other things but not much major stuff besides a cage. It is not easy to do anymore so I pray and try to make it happen. I can not do the work I had as a career I miss it do to my hip gave out. Good off road trucks built with the right stuff are amazing these days andso fun, fast, smooth andin control over rougher stuff.You will not spill your drink at 60-70 MPH over 3' whoops ! Faster and more with this build !

First off love your videos. It’s so hard to find any channels on here that have good content on off-road vehicles. It’s super rare to come across. Anyways is that new truck your guys? Or is for for a customer? Any plans like race wise for it? What class would it be?
This is a customer's truck. Just going to be a toy. If he were to race it, I think he would have to do trophy truck class because he has no frame and it is going to have a ls3 with a cam.

I wouldn't weld the paneling on the trans/motor tunnel...get some dzus tabs and make aluminum panels...having it all welded in is going to make it a bitch to work on the motor and trans.
Shouldn't be too bad! Welding the firewall shut will ensure that no dust or anything can get in and it wont rattle as bad as aluminum paneling.
Wings World True...it’s a prerunner. I build and prep race trucks for a living so panels for easy access are the first thing that come to my mind. If you guys ever need any advice lmk, I’ll be glad to help!

Unfortunately not. The truck had a deadline that Christian wanted/needed to meet so he didn't film that part of the build. Next video will be a front bumper build/final touches!

Need to get a house with a garage to build a prerunner.
Wanted to start a long travel build here soon, is a 1500 better to start out with vs a 2500 I'm stuck on what I should do
Been playing in the desert all my life, from crawling, to dirt bike riding to prerunning and shooting, finally a channel with normal home built fabricators. Keep it up!! And yes flaunt that TRUMP Support!!
