Wow!! the new color fades look awesome the week before I ordered my boat I paddled passed a couple visiting down here in a pair of Adirondacks one in sunburst one in firestorm .. 🤤OMG gorgeous they were blown away when I knew their boat colors by name 😂🤣👍💙💦🛶
Recently discovered your boats thanks to Joe Robinet’s channel. I’m sure I’m among many in that regard. I currently have a 14.6 Native Magic. It’s been a good boat but the weight is killer. It’s also developed some cracking, and the hollow body design (correct terminology?) wastes so much space. I can’t believe how light your boats are. I’ll be hoping to get a new boat late next year or early 2022. Length is my biggest question. I live in south Alabama and have a massive delta area to explore, and by some accounts Alabama has the most navigable waterways in the country. I want something that’s big enough to haul me, one of my boys, and our gear. But also not something so big it becomes difficult to navigate in tighter creeks and sloughs common in the delta. Those are my favorite spots. I think a 13.5 at minimum if not a 14.8. The 15.8 looks easy to maneuver but it’s still a long boat (and still so much lighter than mine!). Any suggestions or other considerations would be helpful. There’s a dealer in Louisiana so I’d love to eventually make a trip over. Thanks!
Depends a bit on how big your boys are and if you're OK having them sit on the floor since the Pack boats are solo boats. I'd go minimum 14.8, and you'll want to estimate the expected weightload in the boat (you, plus child, plus gear). All of our boats have an 'Optimum Load Rating' that you'll want to stay within so the boat performs at its best
You keep making me want to buy more boats! Would love to see that color shift in a deep red/maroon.
Great video! You said you were both 6’4” and 6’3” in the same video. Those cruisers are ideal for bigger folks at only 32lbs!
