That was fun!!! What a cool job, not just the maze, but the entire property! That’s exactly why I studied horticulture and landscape management, so I could work on a property like this! Absolutely gorgeous! And you did a fabulous job on that maze! That was amazing (no pun intended)! Love the video! I’m now a subscriber! 👍👍❤️🇺🇸
Thank you Cheryl..much appreciated 😊.. spread the word 😉
I can't believe one man took this on. Bravo.
💪💪💪💪😉
Maybe you’ll find the last gardeners at the center of the maze!
😅😅
This is NOT a one man job.
@@zeenaabdura5686 erm.....well I did it on my own .. so I guess it is 🤷♂️ 😝
It's a beautiful place to work Sir and thanks for you kind comments at the start of the video! All the best, and I look forward to your video on the Japanese garden!
Hi James....are you the previous gardener??? 😊..if so you've left it looking 👍
@@LHLgardenservices Hi Lee, I was indeed! I was employed rather than a contractor but run my own garden business. I'm still Helsby / Chester based but focusing on my own work now. Was at Foxhill 4 years and it's a great place with a nice team. Happy to answer any questions you have about the place! You look like you'll enjoy it and it deserves to be seen by a few more people! I'm not so good at social media! Regards, James
@@jamescox887 Hi James would you mind contacting me on messenger (my Facebook or Instagram) I would like to have a chat 👍👍😊
@@LHLgardenservices sure Lee, I'll do my best to get in touch shortly. J
At least if you get lost, you can use your drone to find your way out.
😁👌
Never seen anything like this! Ok? I'd be lost for 3 months in there. Hahaha. What a job! Well done, sir. Thx for the peek 👏👏💚👋🇺🇸
🤣🤣🤣thank you Nina
Holy mother of CHRIST.... WHAT A MAZE...INCREDIBLE JOB CUTTING IT...WOW OH 👌 WOW
😅😅😅💪💪💪
Wow😳! My arms were sore by just watching you trim that huge maze! Love your sense of humor, but this was a 2-3 men job. Great job 👏🏼 👍🏼🌟🌹
💪💪😁😁thank you Rose
What a massive job! Well done! Image doing this back in the days with manual shearers. No wonder an estate like this needed multiple gardeners.
😁😁👍
That's some garden to maintain Lee, a maze of privet . Yew is manageable but privet heck !! The Forth rail bridge comes to mind 😌. Top job btw. 👏
Cheers pal 👍...yeah was thinking that 🙈
Beautiful JOB you are a Joker. and we Love you!!!
😅glad you are enjoying the videos 🙏
That was absolutely amazing! (sorry, just had to get that in). I am so chuffed you have won the new contract - you deserve it. They obviously heard about your quality work. It looks like the whole grounds are going to keep you very busy for a long time. Looking forward to more videos of you working on this new job.
Cheers buddy yeah looking forward to it 👍👌
Massive property to work on. Definitely be able to showcase your excellent work.
@@kyliemunday thank you Kylie...yes looking forward to it
You are funny . I cant sleep. In pain from knee surgery. This is what I needed.
🤣🤣thank you Barbara 😊 get better soon 🙏
Pretty sure you win 🏆 the award on UA-cam for the longest winding hedge!! Great video! Be safe and healthy 😷Take care'
😄😄😄 🙏
That's a nice little weekender you're looking after there, Lee. It's hardly surprising you're a bit sore after that mammoth job, but remember that old-time gardeners in stately homes used to carry a ball of red twine around with them for the purpose of not getting lost in the maze (red shows up the best against green backgrounds). Can't wait to see what other surprises you are able to show us (assuming the customer doesn't mind, of course). Fabulous job, as always.
😅😅cheers Tris..don't think I'd have enough twine 😁
Bless you what an epic job, I am shattered watching you, you work so hard, totally impressed x
😄😄💪💪🙏
I know this is the most fun job you ever had in your life. I LOVED this video
Yep..I did enjoy it🤩🤩
What a job! You always have the most difficult gardens. Who has a maze in there yard 🤩 love your work 👏👏👏
🤣🤣🤣 thank you Miriam 😊
That was truly a-maze-ing Lee. What a massive challenge that required all your experience and expertise. Hope you found Sleeping Beauty in the middle. Perhaps you could use some coloured ribbons to tie to branches that are important junctions next time. Well done. Looking forward to the next video.
Thank you Elizabeth 😊
Wow over looking that big property and amazing cutting that amazing and beautiful design grass 💖
👍👍🙏
How interesting! Have to admit that I never considered how or who took care of a maze!! I will now! Hard job! You did wonderful. Thank you Sir 🌹
Thank you Kathleen 😊
I like that sort of work... it is artistic, gives to cheer the human nature and serves the environment. great job... hello from Indiana USA
Thank you and thank you for watching 👋
OMG Lee this is the best laugh i have had in ages!!! when you were pulled back into the maize soooooo funny!! surprised you didnt hear me laughing in Liverpool!! But I know i shouldnt of but every time you got lost the tears were streaming down!!! sorry......... On a serious note though what a feather in your cap for getting this job, such a beautiful estate goodness your skills & expertise are going to truly show on any work you do there. The maize looks A MAZING!! (Sorry couldnt resist!!) no wonder your shoulders & arms were aching but worth all that pain when you achieve those results well done Lee..........(Who needs a garage!!)
😄😄😄glad you enjoyed it ....yeah thank you sure beats cutting around cars 👌👌
Oh Lee you really made me laugh! I wonder how many miles you must have walked going around that maze? You certainly are glutton for punishment, nothing phases you! Great job and a really enjoyable video, you put a smile on my face on this miserable rainy Saturday. Thanks for the video. 👍👌👏👏👏👏👏😀😀😀
😅😅thanks Jean..you're welcome 😊

Fantastic job & video
Next time, don't cut a patch at the front door, then as you cut hedges you will always see it sticking up above the cut hedges and know your way out.
🤣🤣excellent 👏
What’s challenge! And you rose to the occasion! 🏆🥇As always, professional and thorough. You are the best Lee! Congrats On the new contract! What beautiful grounds to be working on, just incredible. Will be looking forward to all your videos. Sending warm wishes from your Florida fan! 😄🤣🌴🐊🦩😎

Fascinating! This was so much fun to watch!
Thanks Nancy glad you enjoyed it 😀
What a remarkable thing to tackle.
Cheers Robert 👍
37:50 You finally found Wetherspoons lavatory and the cobweb-covered remains of punters who couldn't find their way back to the bar.
Miraculously you get back to the bar because you snagged your jumper on the way in and it unravelled only to find a scally has minesweeped your pint and it has just passed last orders.
🙃
I watched the second cutting, first. That was impressive - now, I’m speechless! So glad you managed to escape The Mad Maze Murderer early on. Hilarious 🤣😂
😄😄😉
Watching here ✋, amazing epic maze

Thank you Danielle 😊 glad you enjoyed it 👍
A work of art!! Bravo dear sir
😁😁🙏
Interesting job Lee that place will keep you busy good luck
👍👍😁🙏
Phenomenal job, Lee. I hope the owners will give you a map of the maze, for future reference!!! Like you said, once the various hedge areas that have sparse growth have been fed and the tops of some of the maze level out, with your maintenance; it will be FABULOUS!!! Fantastic, beautiful grounds. Take care and looking forward to seeing the on-going maintenance of these grounds and other videos that you post 😀👍😀👍😀
Thanks as always andreas 😊👍
That was absolutely A-maze-ing. Just had to. Glad you were doing it and not me. Otherwise, no telling what it would become when I was finished. But a-maze-ing would not had been the word...
😀😀cheers Gary
Congratulations on your new contract, Lee. I bet you are well made up with that-it's gonna keep you well busy there !
Cheers Ian yeah looking forward to it👍
OMG Lee. Those things scare the heck out of me. I hate going through Mazes. I was on pins and needles watching you in that thing. Glad you are smarter then me. You knew how to get out. Hope your shoulders feel better. That looked like really hard work. Looks fantastic. Loved your humor.
😅😅 Trust me...I WAS wondering what or who was around every corner 👀

Thank you yes looking forward to it 👌😊
That was aMAZEing......
👌👌
Congratulations on the contract. A little surprised you have the time to take on something so sizeable. The maze, what a daunting job, well done. I`m not surprised your shoulders hurt the next day. Would highly recommend a Stihl HSA86 battery trimmer. Like you, i got into the habit of using my long reach trimmer for most things. I`ve found that going to something with less length is less tiring and faster on narrow jobs. The maze looked very narrow. Keep up the good work, Lee.
Cheers👍👍I'm there today cutting the lawns 💪💪
@@LHLgardenservices guessing it could take half an hour or more?
Lovely to watch sitting in while so much rain outside
Thanks Kate 😊😊
Can't wait to see more videos of the maze!
😉👌👍
Here's a tip for you Lee as you give us good tips, the gardeners here in an estate in Fife with a maze, use painter and decorators stilts to walk around it cutting the tops with 30inch stihl handheld hedgetrimmers.
Often thought about plasterers stilts....but I think ill stick with my trusty long reach....😉
Sounds like a good idea but I can barely walk on my own legs most days let alone stilts 🤣🤣
That was a lot! Nice job.
Cheers Tia 😊
An amazing job, so envious to have the opportunity to cut this maze. Would enjoy it very much myself
Thank you ..yep enjoyed it myself 👍👍
That is a job u did 👍

No problem 😊....im still surprised with it myself because its only 9ft long but as you can see it looks about 20ft up 🧐
Glad to see you picking up some big jobs to replace the others 👍👍 Keep up the good work Lee

What a massive job, definately a full time job just keeping the maze neat. Looks like the last guy couldn't keep up with it all, can see why, huge job. Hope you have a ride on mower for the rest of the grounds...hahaha.....great work.
