A lot of people - like myself - lean too far back on our heels because we're using our back (not our abs) to stabilize ourselves. Learning forward slightly with the slightly bent knees (like they say) will help strength our abs. Great advice all around.

I once had an awful principal that wrote I sat down in one of my observations when I literally sat for no more than 20 seconds to get a PowerPoint going (and had to sit to even see the screen because I’m tall and it was down on a cart. 🙄🙄🙄

I haven’t been able to work a normal job in years. Only 35. My feet have extreme nerve pain. Pt and a pair of ultraboost seemed to help for a few months, but now it doesn’t seem to do any help. Just started a new job. Already have pain, not even two hrs in. Idk what else to do. Gabapentin does not work either.
I have 12 hrs shift and standing job. Though we get 3 hrs break but knee and feet pain hurts. I try different techniques and try to relax somehow. Better change job.
This has nothing to do with this video but I recently hurt my shoulder. I did a bit of arm wrestling with my friends, and then later went to volleyball practice and surged for about 45 minutes. My upper arm/shoulder have started hurting whenever I hit the ball. I’ve tried ice, heat, stretching, medicine, and have given it plenty of rest. Not sure what I can do to stop it from hurting and what the actual diagnosis would be.

But I love the idea of heel up and down and I should be able to put my fists on my lower and stretch my lower back. I wish I could do all of them. I used to yoga all the time, I know how important it is to keep flexible, I just haven't had the opportunity to do my beloved yoga for the time being =(
i found a new job recently it was 8 hour a day and after like 3-4 hour my foot start hurting really bad and i have to force myself to work while having the foot pain for another 4 hour when i got back home it still alot like i almost cant stand up for the whole night even tomorrow i woke up the pain is still there but as much anymore i really need help with it because this causing a big problem to my foot and my job if it keep going like this i might as well find a new job that actually suit me

Why haven't someone invented a device to relieve the foot & back pain from standing long times in one area/place? Possibly a levitation device that hangs your body above the floor a few micro inches, but allows movements or working when needed?
@Paul Patriot Yep, then you'll be dependent on the device and lose muscle tone. Then injure yourself when you have to perform. That's why hospitals get you up walking after surgery. Heals faster too because of better blood and nutrient circulation. Bodies are meant to move anyway. Jabba the Hut has no arms or legs, moves like the slugg. That he is.

Try one of the desk risers from Flexispot. They allow you to raise and lower your workstation. You can switch sitting to standing.
