I love their voices together, I think one of the best performances ever.
The King of soul meets the King of opera, and make beautiful music together💞 brill reaction 👍💯
And these guys were both over 70!
And they both passed away less than a month after this performance unfortunately.... But to clarify, JB is the Godfather of Soul, not the king. Now kiss the ring ahahahah jking
Both unique and legendary in their own rights. Together, they created moment in music that will never be experienced in this dimension again.
Pav is a legend, this video shows a fraction of what he's capable of
True , he was already sick here I think
@@MichelLinschoten yes unfortunTELY
@@MichelLinschoten True he's already sick and also Pavarotti looks sad because his Father passed away 2 days before this concert but his voice still solid and pure.
James too.He also paved the way for blacks to acquire human Dignity
The influence is God's original plan for humanity.
When you paused on James Brown smiling his teeth were actually GLOWING!!!😉
One of the most beautiful things in the world: opera and soul, in general Afro-American gospel and operatic singing. A world unexplored. I want to hear it. Somebody capable of doing it, please do.
So brilliant! The hug at the end is everything.
Every War Child charity concert was hosted by Pavarotti in his home town of Modena, and the guest performers were all A listers. From Liza Minnelli , Elton John, Sting, Maria Carey Eric Clapton, Bon Jovi , you name them, he sang with them. There a many clips on Y.T.
One of the best duos ever - brings together opera and soul. What else can one expect !!
'Flickering' is pizzicato - when the string is plucked on an otherwise bowed instrument.
I was looking for this comment 😂
Mr Pavarotti had just lost his father three days before, James was 69 here. The orchestra is amazing.
You gotta see him when he was young. I'm glad you mentioned James's smile, watching their reactions and their enjoyment of each other's performance is a great part of my enjoyment. Have you seen Nessun Dorma yet? You probably have.
Musical Oneness! Yes, the orchestra was the perfect accompaniment.
He made the word "train" sound like a train going by and fading. Onomatopoeia.
He's not looking at a teleprompter he has sung this song probably hundreds of times he's looking at James Brown for the people
Perfect perfect perfect. Two legend two humain with excellence life. Bravo merci ❤❤❤🫶🫂👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙋♀️⚜️
That flikckering it's called Pizzicato. Great reaction! Cheers from Venezuela
It's just James being James. And Pavarotti of course.
Thank you for reacting to this performance! Two legends !!
A woman is a man's number one motivation, he wouldn't do half the things he does if there weren't a woman or a girl, he is also showing the power of a woman, he is admitting man's weakness, he said We are lost, Living in the wilderness, in a man's world, These lyrics are BOSS !!! So the man who said the song is male chauvinistic hasn't listened and contemplated the meaning,
You give me such joy mate during lockdown, could you do Chris Isaak and “Wicked Game” one of my favourites and highly emotional, keep up the good work bruv 😀❤️
Thank you Thank you
3:48 Your face dude says it All!!
ONLY FEELING
Here's probably the most unlikely duet that Pavarotti ever did - his duet with, wait for it...Grace Jones! Even the audience doesn't know what to expect when they come onstage, as I don't think they could imagine these two together. And if you don't know who Grace Jones is, you might want to check her out. She's definitely a very interesting and talented person!
2003 I think it was. One of , if not the last War Child charity concerts Pavarotti held every year. Sadly they were both dead 4 years later.
Incredibili meravigliosi.
This is awesome!
You should see Bryan Adams do Opera with Pavarotti.
Thank u for ur’e genuine interest on music legends. U are truely passinate and know so much about music. These legends of music are treasures and they deserve to be recognized 4-ever❤️
You really thought Pavarotti was using a teleprompter?
Two global superstars, totally opposite in their singing styles, but both equally as good in their chosen style. Pavarotti appreciates just how good James Brown's vocals are here, just as Brown appreciates Pavarotti. This is a beautiful performance.
If every single person in the world would watch this....
It would be a much, much better world.🙌😍🌹
Its called Soul music son.
I have seen JB a few times in France. He is an Amazing performer. His voice is very powerful. Incredible dancer showman. Hardest worker in Business. Godfather of soul. An example, an Idol for Michael Jackson, Prince and others
dos genios de la musica
Derek, please react on Heart-Stairway to heaven Led Zeppelin-Kennedy Center Honors!
This young men, Derek, is a real gentleman!
I do like his smart comments.
Listen to Nessun Dorma, the 1994 live version in LA
Try: Pavarotti and Bono singing Mesirere live
Guy Moffitt MISERERE not MESIRERE, and you should watch pavarotti and zucchero sing that.
Im not sure but i think the teleprompter is translated to his language so he knows where to come in with his vocals? I could be wrong but it makes some sense lol
music from the 80s and olso from the 60s are the best music ever
If u enjoyed this one, you will love the Pavarotti/Stevie Wonder feat

I am curious, what is in the video that led you to claim he was using a teleprompter?
BRAVO!
The mutual RESPECT is MAGIC! 👑👑❤❤✊🏽✊🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Awesome 👏 thank you keep up the great work.
Pavarotti, 🇮🇹 James Brown, 🇺🇸 Bel Canto: Ópera, Alma.Voz: Natural, Pecho, Chest. Falsette, Cabeza, Head, Sílbido, Whistle. A Tenor 'nd Baritone. Octave, 3 Desde Santiago, Chile. 🇨🇱
I’m not sure about this , but a lot of these crossover concerts were for charity which is also beautiful because a lot of high classical singers would struggle in the “pop” genre and vice versa so it is great to see these talents Sharing their gifts so innovatively. I hadn’t heard this before and loved it, I was a bit concerned at how it would work but it is great.
I love it!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💖💖💖💖
We need a new reaction from Confessions!
Hi dude.. 2 words .. pure magic!!
there is another iconic moment with pavarotti and grace jones, you should check it out
With Mónica Naranjo ua-cam.com/video/zEyfMnaxnVM/v-deo.html
Great commentary. You have a great speaking voice yourself. You can do something professional with that great voice of your own. I met Pavarotti years ago. Very sweet man. DAN
Great reaction! Pavarotti does a duet with BB King that you must see as well. Pavarotti can’t sit still to the Blues beat. Also, I would love to see your reaction to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble!! Maybe start with “Texas Flood “ from the El Macombo. I promise you won’t be disappointed! Thank you.
Men do what we do for women.... to have a woman and to plz one
"It's a Man's World" was written at a time when that was a common comment, like a catchword truth. I was a senior in high school when he wrote it and I remember thinking how interesting it was how it moved into music and connected with everyone. It was early in his career and I had a chance to see him sing it in small town on a little stage in Waycross, Georgia, and it was fantastic. Otis Redding sang. I don't think it's right for Rolling Stone to categorize it as chauvinistic because I think it was written as a musical response to something women were saying, that it might be a man's world but it is all done for women. Would that were so :) I understand he didn't give his girlfriend co-writer any royalties for the song so he is quite the hypocrite. But Betty Jean Newsome sure did co-write a beautiful song
This is a live version, you just haven't found the real live version yet, keep searching brother!!?
Why can’t you wait and give your review at the end ??!!! It actually spoiled the whole thing
Recommend Pavoroti George Michaels.
