Total different genres.. but wow.. beautiful this is crazy.. James Brown and Luciano. WTF,, I'm Blown Away.. Luciano singing all in Italian.. and we still get the vibe. RIp to both amazing greats
Amazing collaboration! Pavarotti did this a lot with other artists. He really enjoyed all music, of course he was best known for opera but that didn't stop him. James is a beast and looked like he really enjoyed this! They are amazing together!!!!!!
Wow, this is something you could never dream up in a million years! Such an amazing piece of work that needs to be saved somewhere so it can never be lost!😭❤ So beautiful! Thank you for sharing and to whoever suggested it to you or I may never have seen it!👏👏👏👏 ❤❤ AB!!
This is such a wonderful corroboration. Just two titans making beautiful music, added to the plucking violins and great backup singers....it is truly magical!!!
Pavoratti and Eric Clapton do a great duet, Holy Mother, a benefit concert, War Child I believe. Pavoratti's voice and Clapton's guitar. Amazing. 😁 AND, I LOVE that you're mixing in classical music ,so much historic beauty to hear and discover. Thank you!💙
This was done in Italy.. Pavarotti had concerts with artists from other genre’s in his later years.. it’s a wonder the stage could hold all of that talent..
That was one if the greatest performances ever! I mean, when have you ever heard James Brown with a full orchestra... Violins, cello ... Everything? It was a masterpiece performance. It really was. There was a series years ago called "Pavarotti and Friends", of which this was just one performance. Each concert took place in Pavarotti's home town of Milan, Italy. He sang with a lot of different people. This was by far the greatest one, imho. I'm just sad that neither of them is with us anymore.
So, please don’t hate but I am not James Brown fan (though, I’ve always liked this song), I really cannot stand all that screaming, but this song and this performance is epic!!! ❤
These took place annually in Pavarotti s home town in Italy. All proceeds went to help feeding the underprivileged in Africa. It was an honor to be asked to sing with him. Many stars ran at the chance to do it.
You need to watch Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson do this on The Voice. At 80, Tom can still bring you to your knees! And Tom with Jennifer, is absolutely next level.
2 soulful singers creating a masterpiece, live, with that orchestra behind them. Thanks for covering this, it's a beautiful collaboration!

Can you imagine Elvis and James Brown together or Elvis and Luciano Pavarotti together....OMG
There's an old saying:
When music fans get together, they argue over who's music is best.
When musicians get together...they jam!
This was fantastic! These two blew me away! Beautiful 🤗✌️

One of my favorite reactions that I have watched! A masterpiece for these masters! Thank you AB for bringing this!!
"he's still got soul"
Bro James Brown has so much soul that angels sing when he farts. The KING.
I don’t know the song Luciano is singing but it is so beautiful, even just a few notes in. I’m going to have to Google & find out!
Fite / molto bene!!!
And Pavarotti had cancer at the time that is why he is sitting
Both still at their best and both would be gone within just a year.
So, please don’t hate but I am not James Brown fan (though, I’ve always liked this song), I really cannot stand all that screaming, but this song and this performance is epic!!! ❤
