I think that the brightness of the LEDs will be adjustable in a future update, it shouldn't be very hard to adjust but we can more or less adjust it currently with the brightness of the screen
Thanks for your video. Love my new Model 3, but the turn signals buttons are disappointing and dangerous in some situations. Looking to retrofit stalks. Some aftermarkets are working on. UPDATE: I found a cheap solution for the turn signal buttons. I affixed a small adhesive letter R and a small letter L next to the appropriate turn signal button. With this simple fix, when I need to indicate a turn and the steering wheel is upside down because I’m in a sharp turn, I just look for the letter and press. Wish Tesla included that simple denotation, as my added letters don’t light up in the dark. Hoping with enough driving it will become intuitive.
When you “flash” the high beams, it flashes a narrow bright light up directly in front of you. When you “turn on the high beams” it will raise the entire light beam up plus the “flash”. Same thing happens in the model Y and previous 3 (I have the model Y and have checked this multiple times in the garage).
I’ve heard that the new horn froze on highland in Norway at -6.. you should also test it when it goes below 0. And how do you activate washer fluid, some long press on button, or you need to go to the screen?
I am someone who tries not to drive in pitch black darkness at night. When I have to use it, the inside of the car reveals that magnificent view at the beginning of the video. Although this creates peace and comfort, as someone who has a "fear of loneliness and darkness", I must say that I try to overcome my tension in the environment by listening songs in the car and using interior lighting. After a while, when I focus on the road or get into traffic, yes, this fear disappears, but the lighting in front of my feet is a great help for me in such situations. It makes me feel more in my control of the car. I can say that interior lighting and foot lighting are the primary lighting options that will alleviate my fear on dark paths in the forest. I really love them.
@@samirdavudov9802 Not a guy and don’t eat cereal :). BTW, I’ve gotten used to the ambient lights. What bothers me is the light strip on the door is not properly aligned with the dash light strip. Oh well, minor details. Love the car.
I'm getting mine black exterior with white interior, with a custom black Alcantara roof. Like an Oreo. With adding extra ambiance in the foot wells, seats, and air vent 😮💨
Are the driver and passenger seats wider than older model 3 versions? People complained about thigh bolsters in older model 3, has that been fixed or remain unchanged?
you know the Ambient light dimming is very important and necessary especially for people that have Astigmatism you know lights are going to hit the road and disturb vision especially at night .
You know there's an option for those people that says "turn off ambient light", what about the people who don't have astigmatism and want to enjoy the lights and that doesn't bother them? Why do people take it upon themselves to just try to defend some part of folks while not caring about rest and that the rest should just obey? They add something cool to the car but have to "dim it" just so it won't affect your driving. Then just don't add it. Bmw, Benz everyone else has much more brighter leds that don't affect anybody.
Hardware is there. They are matrix headlights. The software is not yet done for driving but it does work when you put it in light show mode. They will probably enable them for driving in a software update.
Nice car, excellent tech, but an ergonomic disaster from the drivers point of view. Yes,one can get used to lack of stalks etc.,but that doesn’t mean it’s better. Simply put,the manufacturer is doing what they want, rather than what their customers want…..not a good idea in the long run.
Nah I fw it… it’s much simpler and easier to operate. Cars aren’t going to be the same forever fam they are going to eventually change and become “better”.
IMHO basic thigs like turn signal stalks, lights, missing car dashboard etc. are ruining this car for many people, also prices were expected to be much lower now for sure, at least for LPF battery version of this car should not be more than 30k USD.
I am not going to argue with you about stalkless design. I personally enjoy it more but we all have opinions. However idk why people were expecting it to be a lower price. It’s priced about the same as the old model 3. And also it’s priced very generously for what it is. A 5 seater coupe with ambient lighting and a big infotainment display. For $33,990-$38,990 for the rear wheel trim, $42,740-$47,740 for the all wheel trim, and $41,490-$56,990 is not bad. Also the fact that auto pilot is a standard and free feature and most cars make you pay for that upgrade is a huge bonus. I think it’s well within its range. And the performance is a steal. Compare it to the prices of something like the corvette or Cadillac CTS V and what you get compared to those and it’s a no brainer as long as you’re not a petrol head that has to breathe in those fumes while disrupting everyone else to “show off.”
If you do like me drive all night long thats very distracting with all the lights. I have turn all those lights off in those Mercedes I drove, and the instrument to minimum.

You said you didn't want to keep re engaging the turn signals because it's complicated now so you didn't indicate. Yeah, that is game over for Highland. I think Highland will flop in the US because of lack of turn stalks. They spent money on stupid ambient lights and rear screen and extra gear button on top but removed the sensors and stalks. Sales of Highland will disappoint Tesla and they will learn and put it back. The moron who signed off on this and came up with this should be flogged. Bet it's Elon.

They are matrix, its just not enabled in software yet, they've had matrix high beams in there since 2021
I have the same issue, the light should be ajustable and also have a disco mode, changing colours

Thank you for the highland night review. I was wondering if the steering wheel buttons where backlit and your video answered that question perfectly.
Does the light at the feet stay on or can you turn it off? I have no idea why you'd want to have light on your feet while driving.
