In my personal opinion, best arc in the whole series, I remember watching this for this first time and thinking how great the phantom troop itself actually was, like the way they operated was different from any other anime villain group, and each individual character was interesting, truly a work of art
A Silver Soul I agree, it gives such a different dynamic to the anime most others have which is a few bits of training to get overpowered, everyone can utilize their nen in unique ways along with the others
I’d say this is the strongest arc from start to end. The Chimera Ant arc has the strongest highs of the whole series, but the way the beginning dragged on keeps it from edging out the Yorknew arc.
I love how Yorkshin handles the whole issue of a fight between mafias very well. Yorkshin is never about a direct conflict, but about "The tension of an imminent conflict", and the few struggles that occur, neither are for the main members and one of them is exactly the idea of how the outsourcing of that conflict works (the Zoldyck doing this service). I like that it is an arc that can be tense and bustling without having to resort to straight and countless fight, but instead simply work on this strategic tension very well.

I'm fairly new to HxH, and this Arc is what solidified me being a fan of Hunter x Hunter. Not that what came before or after was bad, but this arc is what made me truly excited to see what happens next. I'm currently on the Chimera Ants arc and it has it's moments, but it doesn't compare to the Yorknew City arc. The Phatom Troupe are just a more compelling villain group, oh and this ending song makes the arc even more memorable.

The second part of chimera Ants arc is one of the most intense arc I ever seen. Also I can’t wait to see the Dark Continent/succession war arc to be animated, probably the same level as Yorknew arc at least for what we have now.
I had watched Jojo and if I have to rate all the parts Then Battle tendency and Stardust Crusaders are absolutely God tier while the rest of the parts are sort of repepetive. Still a great show but not better than Gintama and HXH imo
Best arc in the anime (in my humble opinion). Quick, concise, introduces a lot of incredibly important elements to the story, and it was also our first real look at how nen works in relation to society.
I really liked how the arc didn't end with Kurapika taking out the entire Troupe. It felt more realistic how he only killed two of them before forcing a sort of stalemate, and it left a lot of room for future development.

For me, Yorknew city arc is the best arc in the entire series!!! We get to meet the phantom troupe and see all the characters working together. I just love it!!!!!
One of my favorite moments in this arc was when the Phantom Troupe destroying the city, and the it cuts to Chrollo standing above it all, conducting. so EPIC!
When the narrator started talking near the end and this outro started to build up like O M G was the biggest hype for me! Never skipped this outro once.
