kurapika knock at the door fourth prince: hunting for you're dream

Bertholdt getting a bit of character development and breaking his shell definitely hit hard here. Sucks that he dies so soon after a major shift with his character 😮‍💨 and he's basically forgotten in regards to most conversations in the future. A couple of name drops and... that's it.

This was hands down my favorite moment in the series, since it was the last time the Survey Corps was completely outgunned. -Zeke had the inner gate blocked by two lines of titans, and was pelting the scouts with shrapnel. -Reiner was nape against the ground, making any recovery of his body infeasible. -Bertholdt was turning Shiganshina into a victorian-era Nagasaki. -Pieck was exactly right, as expected of her. The second the glow of Bertholdt's transformation starts to shine, literally everyone is just staring slackjawed in mute horror as they watch Bertholdt wipe out half of their entire military branch. It's really rare in anime and most other forms of media where you just have the good guys get completely wiped out by a better armed and more organized set of antagonists, and it sucks that the next instance of it in the series wound up being an angsty dork deciding to genocide everyone that wasn't Paradis Eldian because fate.

My love for BSD will never vanish. Idc what anyone says, because I know they’re wrong. BSD is one of the greatest pieces of shonen ever written, and BSD is the reason I fell in love with the detective genre and also one of the reasons Moriarty is in my watchlist. Thank you Bones for making this masterpiece
