Here's something that I've noticed with Eset in school: One of our teachers was trying to find a specific website to display on the Smart Board, but she ended up on a fake captcha website instead. She isn't very good with tech things, so she clicked allow notifications when she was asked to by the fake captcha, and then Eset showed up and said basically something along the lines of "Threat Detected: Adware", so it actually blocked it in the end, and I think that's why maybe some of those websites in your test would be blocked.

If Kaspersky Endpoint Security had absolutely all protection components enabled (such as Adaptive Anomaly Control and others), detection of legal programs that can be used by attackers was enabled, and active infection treatment technology was enabled, the results would be much better.

Is the problem with northon and kaspersky not that they just quarantine something instead of fighting it? I heard that eset is actually fighting the program and correct it while norton and kaspersky have already the damage.

It could be depending on settings if disinfect or quarantine is selected but nice observation.

Hi can you test sandboxie plus. I know it's not an antivirus, but testing sandbox could be a new topic

Kaspersky did extremely better even though Advanced Disinfection technology was disabled, with advanced disinfection enabled probably there would be nothing running in RAM.

Scheduled tasks and java malware definitely on ESET
Lot of PUPs on ESET Vm as well
Games on Kaspersky😂 and malware remnants in appdata temp
Startup items definitely more on ESET
Conclusion: Kaspersky wins in my opinion bcoz Windows is not actively infected whereas ESET in my view seems actively infected.

I actually hear than kaspersky is normaly already infected even if it puts it into quarantine while eset should correct the infection back to normal.

I am not entirely confident about those second opinion scanners.
All of them except Comodo are going to definitely perform worse than ESET and Kaspersky.
    I can bet on that😂
