@@KrstovicNikola yeah, I hear ya there! Instrument reviews are the same for me. But I did that and I kept on getting questions in the comments. so I figured I'd circumvent some of that. The talking part is the hardest part!!
@@danilopez7254 that's a grounding issue. This one didnt have that problem. You could probably find the issue easy enough by poking around the wiring and soldering something that came loose.
@@danilopez7254 you should definitely make sure your amp has ground, but this sounds like it comes from the guitar wiring. That's the same problem I had when I rewired my first guitar. If everything is obviously soldered down, then you might have a faulty pickup, volume knob, or input jack, but I still suspect something in the wiring. Hit up Charvel. You deserve better than this!
Hey Jesse, awesome tone and tehnique. I see that your info says "Kemper Profiler, forgot which profile" ... but could you be able to remember which one was it or at least recommend which amp and cabinet combo to use on Kemper to at least get into that direction of dialing a similar profile patch? Thanks. I am a new kemper user and all clean, crunch, OD sounds are awesome but have trouble getting a decent solo tone like you are using in this video. And also, if I may ask 1 more thing was the guitar in standard tuning? Thank you
Oh this was a while ago, so I don't remember much about it now. I was using the lasse lammert profiles a lot during this time, so maybe you could try those. I was recording direct in, no cab. I think this was tuned to drop C#, but it should be easy enough to decipher that.
Great playing as always. I need your opinion... I'm thinking of getting this guitar, but it's $700 more than a standard Charvel. I realize it's a signature model, i get it... but is there anything about this guitar, aside from the aesthetics that warrant, the extra $700? thx. NC
Probably not. The Charvel guitars that I've played are all pretty nice. Just make sure you get the options you want. You may be paying extra because it's a limited edition, although I did hear they made more.
Thank you very much! That's a kemper but the cleans were from amplitube 4. I've been playing for about 20 years. No formal lessons, but I'm always watching things on youtube. I'm a constant student.
WHY do you say "good luck" finding one????....already have one and they are coming out with a second run..end of May or June...YES MAKE a modification.... I moved the volume knob closer to the bridge pickup and put in a Tesi kill switch where that volume know was.....NOW it's NO issue killer guitar....
This review is schizophrenic. Superb guitar, but the pick-up selector is nonsense and the p/up balance is terrible but the sounds are great but I wish it had a middle position but you don't need it and I wouldn't change a thing.
I have it and 0 noise. Check the grounding wire that goes to the back (metal part that holds the springs) and I believe another one should be connected to the body with a screw when you raise the pickguard. Most of these come from Mexico factory and they are very sloppy when it comes to finishing the guitars.
Love your input on these bro!!!
I’m definitely going to check out your other reviews when I get a chance , thank you 🔥
The mullet is strong with this one. Awesome video, bud. sounds great
Yeah bro, great guitar demo. And it being a Charvel I knew it would play great.

Спасибо. Я рад, что вам понравилось видео. это забавная гитара.
Awesome song. You did some Really cool tones. Love the single coil neck high gain sounds.
Thank you very much!!! Glad you enjoyed!
Awesome playing man!
Great playing!
Super demo!
Liked and sub’d.
Always great videos And rockin hair! 🤘🏽
Thanks, Alex!!!
If charvel makes DK24 version of this... it would sell even faster , if that's even possible...
Damn that intro song was DOPE! 1/1 Evergrey style... Great video, cheers!
Hey someone has finally mentioned my mimic track! Haha thanks for the kind words, Nick!!
@@jessebillson Well its a highlight of the review to me for sure... Im not into talking that much i prefer to hear some music on YT... Good job!

@@jessebillson Sure i understand. Just dont make reviews like some of the guys online who talk for 20 minutes and play for 45 seconds... :D
I own this guitar and it is awesome.
Its one of those you don't get rid of.
I'll be keeping this thing forever.
The perfect layout.
Yep. I already noticed a lot of retailers no longer had it. Definitely do not sell!
I have one too but It has a lot of hum noise but when i touch the strings or the Floyd its gone. Do you have the same problem?
@@danilopez7254 that's a grounding issue. This one didnt have that problem. You could probably find the issue easy enough by poking around the wiring and soldering something that came loose.
@@jessebillson Thanks! Already checked but found nothing. The only thing i can think of is my power socket where my amp is pluged in has no ground....

Good god. Just when we couldn't think things could get worse than 2020. 2021 brings back the.... mullet. 🤣👍
Lol!!
Excellent playing!
Dude- bitchin intro and tone! I'm subbing just so I can hear more of that!
That's very nice of you to say. Thank you very much!!! More videos next month after I get through this insane patch of work.
Great playing... I love my hanrik too
Great playing, dude. I definitely wanted to get this guitar but the push knob kinda gave me concern. Plus evergrey rules
fantastic song ! what is the name?
I still have a 84 charvel. Its got mohogony back with curly maple on top
Sounds like one of those guitars you never part with.

I thought these were sold out already?
They might be. They were still out there when I started making the video. I'm sure there must be a few left...

Of anyone else has this guitar, do you have volume drop as well with pickup switching? That’s a big issue for me.
The pickup combo is to blame. I think I mentioned it in this video. It's kind of a feature of this guitar.
@@jessebillson thank you, yes sir I asked after hearing your demo. Not sure if I can dig the volume drop thing. It complicates matters
@@Tatted-ne7tu ahh I see. Well If you're using enough gain it gives a cool note definition at least. On clean tones it's not ideal in my opinion.
@@jessebillson Thanks brada. That helps.
Why not raise the pickup height?
3:37😱😱😱😱🥺🥺😭😂
I have this guitar too, I like it, but it's extremely noisy, anyone found a solution for that? (other than cranking up the noise gate?)
Check the cavities for shielding? That's something I haven't looked at.
