I swear this man when he actually tries can beat anyone at any time. Rafa is my favorite player but Kyrgios has raw talent like no other when he tries his hardest
Its mental. He has more talent in terms of skills and athleticism than anyone in tennis. Winning multiple rounds of best of 5 matches in grand slams takes mental strength and focus which he doesn't possess in relation to your "big 3" or someone like Stanimal. He possesses no mental maturity either. He's 20 something going on 14 "bro".
I am his biggest fan and yet he is the definition of hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Has the natural talent to be top 3 in world but is a fiery personality with inconsistency. One day we can hope he decides his talent is worth working on
he only plays with a palyer that he wants to beat...one of the big 3 (Fed-rafa-nole)..nick is the only next gen to have beaten them all...because he only play against them and dont play seriously with other players...With RF in 3rd round in US open the swiss has to worry a lot.
@@lejonas29 you think I'm annoying, but you're spamming worse than I do. Chill out. If you don't like my comments, don't read them. It's not that hard. And don't be a hypocrite, if you want to act "better" than me, then chill out. It's UA-cam, not politics.
Of the upcoming players tsitsipas zverev medvedev khachanov thiem etc i honestly think none of them can conquer the big 3. Genuinely think kyrgios can do it.
See, these are the times he actually tries. He even says himself that he prefers basketball over tennis. If he did try though he would easily be in the top 5.
Kyrgios is the best talent on the sports history. Serving with 235km/h second serves and having an unreturnable first serve, mixed with the best forehand at the moment, smart returns and an unbeliveable backhand power generated. Kyrgios is the G.O.A.T , he is just trying to enjoy his young age getting out of pressure, he haves positive H2H , with top players, beating twice the GoldenMasterCareer player and multiple time Fed. Keep up Kygs, we trust you champ
He needs to mature and behave like any good sportsman because in tennis he has a great level, he becomes very scary for any tennis player, I hope he can finally change
Dont like the guy but it kills me to see him throwing away his talent by not focusing. I truly believe that he has more natural talent than any current player. His shot making ability is insane. He moves brilliantly for a big guy, he has effortless technique on his forehand and can genrate monstrous power from it. His return of serve is insane. His serve is insane. His touch game is insane. It comes out at times but i honestly think he could be the person to conquer the big 3 over tsitsipas zverev and medvedev.
In his latest us opens game. Round 2. He ha moments when he wasn’t serious and didn’t try but when he did he came back and dominated. He needs to be more consistent with his mentality. Good future for him
He can definitely make it back, but not with the way tennis is rn. As weird as this sounds, Kyrgios is a team player. He's at his best when doing something for someone else. The Laver Cup, ATP Cup, and most recent AO show that. He has a hard time doing things when the motivation needs to be self driven. Like a gun; deadly, but someone else has to pull his trigger. I understand this since I'm the same way in some regards. He would benefit the most from the addition of 'coaching' to the sport. If he had like a friend just chilling on the bench with him bantering about and keeping his mind occupied, it would be a great help.
Kyrgios doesn't have a champion mentality. He never has and doesn't look like he's going there. He's sorta like Monfils. Good physical ability, definiately talented player but total lack of champion character. That's why Kyrgios will never win any Grand Slam. If he won even once, he'd be as much surprised himself as anyone else... The kinda player that fights not only against an opponent but also against himself on the court. It's not gonna work this way. It takes full control over your mind and body to keep proper level to stay consistent and take whole tournaments. And players like him usually have like out of the planet games few times in their careers. But it doesn't change anything. It just proves that his mind is against him and he's not able to control it well. Sometimes "the mood" lets him play amazingly, nothing else. And that's sad. He can definiately afford a good psychologist. I don't think I'm the only one who can see that's the issue. It's also kind of like watching someone who wants to beat his opponent no matter what, show no respect, beat the crap out of him, like he makes it personal and emotional and that's pointless. Reminds me of an angry little child and not a pro tennis adult player.
It always amazes me to see how players like Rafa, Roger, Novak stay consistent when opponent has a good day and they don’t feel like there in top form, it’s shocking!! The fact that Rafa can make second set go 5-5 against Kyrgios A game is astonishing. That’s what separates the greats. They have plans to counter bad days and there’s no complaining it’s just a fix fix fix variety mentality. But as far as Kyrgios... well until Tennis becomes his passion he won’t win a GS.
He could win a major and boomers in comment sections would simply switch to "yeah well imagine how many more he'd have if something something bad attitude"
His only problem was Modesty.. He strated treating comparing himself to the likes of the big three but havent even won a Masters title. He destroyed his own career.
To me it seems as he's not even giving his all. Almost like a practice or exhibition match. Nick has enormous talent but as he's mentioned he doesn't crave it enough. Really extraordinary player but his attitude especially with chair umpires is very disrespectful. Along with Fognini they could be winning the match and all of a sudden their behavior will go sideways. Great things he does for kids through his foundation.
@@pippen2212 Well basically no one can beat him, that's true, the only times Rafa lost were in 2009 where he was struggling with his health a bit and missed WIM right after and his parents divorced at that time which had a mental effect on him, and in 2015 when he had the worst year of his career and lost to prime Nole and Rafa was playing horrible. So basically Nadal at 80% at RG is better then anyone who ever played the game
Not happy to see this right before the US open. I'm worried if he will play like this against Roger in the third round. Seriously, he could win this US open if he plays like this, controling his temper.
