Here in Massachusetts, USA. Your shops are so clean and organized, our thrift shops are mostly overcrowded, dirty, smell and have things you would never buy that are overpriced. Enjoyed your video, this is the second I have watched and will watch more. You are awesome. Thank you Mr. C.
I LOVED your idea for the challenge! I think I'll suggest it to my friends too. I live in Chicago and we have tons of thrift stores. Goodwill is my fave. I also loved the idea for putting all those coffee cups on the wall. I think I might do that in my home too. Great vlog, Mr. C!!
I love how well laid out and organized your charity shops are over there. It makes it very easy to look at items and I noticed you showed some nice quality items also. They were all so clean. Here in America they tend to jam the clothing racks close together making it a bit difficult to maneuver a wagon through. We also don't have that many in the area I live in sadly. I did find a vintage leather coach handbag at a Church charity shop last summer for a dollar tho which was quite awesome. Loved your video as always.
You are so amazing I love watching your channel everytime I turn on my computer The first thing i do is look for you I just can't get enough of you. You make it so enjoyable to watch.Thank you for making my day.
I would put a large plate or a round tray in the bottom of the bag to keep the shape. Shirt looks fab and what a great bargain with the candle!! A real gem of a find. Lunch looked lovely but I have to say, I would not have picked the cup with a chip in it. Big no-no. Lol
I love your videos....I'm a south London girl who lives elsewhere now so I love your charity shop trips because they're everywhere I know and you're fun to go shopping with...love your ideas ❤
So cool to watch you go into these stores. I lived right in Camberwell until this past august and never visited these stores 😱 I’ll definitely have to pop back sometime!
Hi Mr Carrington! As well as being a lover of thrift/charity/etc. shops I'm also a crazy cat lady and love that you always give the puddies a little air time on your vlogs xxx
You must go to quite an affluent area, all the chazza shops around our way are full of Primark crap, sold at pretty much the same price you can get it in shops. I'd love to pick up some Reiss bits for my hubby for a fiver!! Lol Brilliant video though x
Beautiful vlog, as always. I love that it is longer than usual 😃I would never get tired of watching you. In France thrift stores are not as common as in the Uk, and the quality of the items is much much lower as well. But I am coming back to the UK soon and I will tag you in my first thrift shopping, I look forward to it !😃😄☀️
Looove the video! And love the idea of the bag turned into a pot holder. I’m a HUGE charity shop lover myself and I usually go to Wanstead, Pimlico or Muswell Hill as they’re hot spots for charities. I’m new to your channel and I’d love to see more of these videos as they’re an inspiration and now I know where to go to spot new ones! xxx
Hi Mr C, enjoyed your vid tfs, ye I thought the shirt suited you, good bargain on that candle wow. Personally I think the British Heart are quite expensive they are up north lol x
I'm taking you up on your challenge! I hate to admit this but until today I had no idea there were so many thrift shops in my town. I'm not a snob just NOT a shopper. Looking forward to some fun! Mr. Carrington you are such a wonderful inspiration!
I love Freya as well. Though my monochromatic wardrobe leans towards black, gray, olive and white, I appreciate how she finds amazing items and seamlessly blends the together. What a score in that Lalique candle!! Three or so months past, I found a Diptyque babies candle in a Goodwill Thrift Store, brand new, unburied for $3.00 usd!! They retail for $65. I burn it judiciously as I am not want to buy one at regular price. I was overjoyed to see you found your score! Were you like me, paying at the register hoping no one realized their mistake? 🤣. Wishing you all the best!!
Hi, love your videos. I'm from the US so it was fun seeing the difference & similarities in the shops there & here. We have TJ Maxx (TK Maxx). Dollar Tree/ Store, which looks like ur Poundland. I thinking you were going to get the black boots you tried on. And the minute you touch that shirt I thought it was your style and it would look nice on you. Glad you got it!
I loved watching this charity 10 shop challenge...fab finds I like the idea of the straw plant holder from a shoulder bag 👍 I'm looking out for that in my charity shops from now on.
I love these kinds of videos. Being a subscriber from Australia its really exciting to see out and about in UK charity shops. I feel like I've done a bit of travelling just by watching the video.
Only now watched it - what an excellent and informative video!!! And all really close to me so now I'm so hoping all ends well for everyone quickly (really hoping), and I can check these out.
I love second hand shopping and all of those shops looked so amazing!! In my town we only have one red cross charity shop and I think three or four thriftstores...
Mr. Carrington well done! Loved so many of the items in those shops. I would love to participate in this but over here, charity shops are less common and there are thrift shops but doing 10 in a day could be impossible 🙁
Good old Peckham 🙌🏼. I need to pop into these charity shops next time I visit my parents 😊. Been binge watching all your videos. Keep up with the great content 👍🏼
Great video! As soon as you focused on the iron tables I thought of your outdoor plants , I really liked them !! Wow that candle what a steal it looks gorgeous 💖. Great that you're now reached 16,000😆😆😆.nim just popping over to freya's channel now z!!
That made me laugh were a charity shop tried to sell a mans basic Primark black t shirt for 3.00 when Primark charge 1.75 new. I know they have money for charity but their items are donated for free. In stopped giving to the main charity shops once the prices started to skyrocket.
Thank you for putting up a brilliant video . I come from Exeter we have quite a few charity shops so I work my way down town only allowing myself to buy from two shops . If I didn't I would go over my budget.
For the candle, it is Bali traditional aromatherapy . it is common smell when you are entering a luxury spa at 5 start hotel in Bali. But you can found also in cheaper side if you eager to try a balinese door to door traditional massage I am an Indonesian who live in France.
LOVED that little table at 12:58 ! Actually that whole store had items that I liked.Such restraint! LOL. I saw so many things that I was sure you were going to buy but you didn't...yet. ;^D
I’ve popped over from Freya’s channel, you guys have made me want to hit some charity shops. I love your background in the showing what you got part of the video x
Great vlog as usual x next time you try this challenge you might like to go to lordship lane in Dulwich and then to forest hill where they have another aldlife (like Peckham) and Kate's favourite sue ryder x love watching your channel and you inspired me to do some decluttering thank you soooooooo much, long overdue xxxx💖💖💖💖💖
Love the neat/organized charity shops and the cool new shirt. I'm curious about how your style/taste (clothing & interior design) has evolved over time...And do you periodically evaluate your existing collection/habits/goals, etc? e.g. My style changed from boho to classic over time.
Missed Kate ha I always regret not picking things up they are never there if I go back the things have got way more expensive but would way prefer to buy this way better all round also live the serendipity
i love the seconhand shops the candle is beautiful what a bargain i have turned over a new leaf i dont want clutter if i buy i want to get rid of something at the same timei got a few jumpers lately which i needed the weather is so cold i worked in charity shops going back i would not put stuff out that was faded or marked it would go to recycle london is quite exspencive i see but you really did well i only wish that jacket was a medium lol it was fab. and i spotted a nice rustic blazer you looked at too,,thank you i will look at freya now..hugs mgt ireland x
Freya found some really nice things for her & the house. 😍 By the way, Luke may need assistance recovering a fabric footstool. I know you are king of the DIY department! 😃
OMG you are in Peckham. LOL i went to BHF and Traid today. In Traid everything was £1.00 today. The charity shops in Camberwell are generally more expensive than Peckham.
Hi my lovely What a find with the candle, I’m lucky enough to own some Lalique perfumes and the bottles are just stunning, make sure you hold onto the glass candle container as their glass is so special x
Iwan, your lunch looked delicious.Do the larger charity shops have a connection to a delivery service for larger items? Some of them have better merchandising and look more inviting than some smaller shops. Thank you for taking us along.
More thrifted items over on my Instagram! 😀👍❤️ instagram.com/mistercarrington/

Well done, that was a work out in itself. That candle was an epic find and using the bag as a plant holder is genius!!

Pink Panther yes it does change from time to time :) nothing too drastic.
Loved those metal tables!
I’m plus size so always steer clear of charity shops in fear they won’t have my sizes. Maybe I’ll try it anyway in future. Thanks!😊
