After a short run on NBC, the final season of the show was renamed "SCTV Channel" and broadcast in the US by Cinemax from 1983-84. Short appeared in the skit I'm referring to, which Alex Trebek said was his favorite parody of the show.
Ah yes, the Cinemax season. I always assumed Half Wits was just a parody of game shows in general with Trebek as the host.
I would love to see old SCTV material.
Good GOD the “Pantry Way” girl looks like she’s being held at gun point!!! xD
Sony had better NOT block this vid
I have a bad feeling that they will
I think it's just a matter of time.
Also thx for this. Loved it. ❤
Lol I clicked on this thinking it was an SNL skit 🤣
I clicked this thinking it was SNL's celebrity Jeopardy, then realized it was likely the episode that inspired it.
"The fragrance inspired by The Bridges Of Madison County" .. what a weird and wild universe we live in.
I REMEMBER THAT FRAGRANCE. I loved it lol
Lynn, the boys brought their "A" game. They ain't playin'.
Alex, i forgive that you called Lynn, "stupid," only because you are not with us , anymore. But that was really tactless, you know.
I grew up watching Jeopardy, so I was like 11 when this episode happened. While I do not remember it, and I have not seen Jeopardy since probably 1998-99, my jaw literally dropped when he said that!! Unbelievable!
Alex was a misogynist. I was not a fan.
well he wasn't wrong, great era where snowflakes weren't given social media to cancel the world, take me fucking back, today is a shit show of crybabies and people pretending they can't work because of shyness (social anxiety)0 what a joke, we will never have the 90s again instead we've got oh you can't say that its bad lmao
I miss International coffee lol.
I looked up the Serial Killer fron the commercial, he was caught in 96. Fingerprint, and DNA. He taunted the police stole the dead girls tombstone after attending her funeral, left a mesaage on it for the girl that got away and threw it on a car hood in a parking lot. His name was Terry Driver. Died in prison 2021.
That’s horrifying. I’m glad he was caught.
Bro, thank you for going on that deep dive, that one was really snuck in between the gas and toy commercials and I was horrified 😰
24:05 holy vaporwave floppy disk batman that"scratch the surface" lotto files is crazy... i love the circus music after showing a windows 3.1 style cursor graphic art and file folders as artwork for a news caster background
David i can't believe you didn't know that 😮
Two sharp minds and a lunatic play Jeopardy. It’s a chaotic episode, but it has a kind of zany charm.
all three never knew Baghdad was the capital of Iraq?? wtf??
Lynne Redgrave must be buzzed up.
Se dopea.
Nah. Just egotistical and obnoxious
After Years I FINALLY FOUND THE ORIGINAL (WHAT ARE FROGS) 😁😀
