Thing about Robin, though, is that he did it at 2000 words per minute (kinda like Mozart and Schubert but with jokes instead of music), so he could solo an improv sketch easily. Stick him on a stage and that's his stand-up act. Sit him down with Letterman and that's an interview with Robin. Fallon got the mannerisms down perfectly, but Robin was faster, often more obscene, and he genuinely loved everyone in the audience.
