- Woke up to a gt500 ad sent to me from my dad. Ended up being a SCAM!

I believe that is the GT500 Dennis Collin’s bought out of Windham NH. Don’t feel bad, I live in Windham and I never saw it rotting away in that field.
Yup gotta jump on those deals. Last year I checked Craigslist for the first time in years and saw a rough but running with a misfire 2nd gen Lightning in town for $3500. Called the guy and he sold it 2 days before and forgot to take the ad down. Joined a few Lightning groups and found the guy that bought it, all the guy did was put a helicoil on the stripped spark plug and he said the thing ran like a top!

There two scams I see all the time on Marketplace. One is a crazy deal on Coyote engines. It's always listed in a generic area of several cities owned by someone with a foreign name. The second one is a very nice 69-70 Mach 1 for $25k, usually listed at multiple cities. Same issues.

Well that sucks but at least it was only 6 minutes as opposed to 6 hours. You have chase those though.. you never know.

Yes! I was thinking this also. I probably wouldn’t have got out at a rougher looking neighborhood but it was a well known place. I also brought my 40 lol
