Got these thinking they were the slightly larger Panfish floats ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq0gU they work just fine. The smaller size lets me carry more in my tackle box, and the 3 color choices are nice for different lighting conditions, backgrounds, etc. They aren't the most durable things in the world. But, as cheap as they are, it's not heartbreaking to lose one or have to replace a worn one. The price on these fluctuates wildly, from about $9 to almost $16. So, time your buy accordingly.
Great Noodle Vid. Just happened to purchase some yesterday for my Kayak. As I was walking in the store I almost bumped into this lady, I said your about to get noodle. She laughed. Thanks again.
You were right. I loved this video! Thanks for the ideas. I can’t wait for the next installment of pool noodle hacks. Some suggestions: “Making a pool noodle kayak”, “DIY fishing cabin made of pool noodles”, and “The 60 mph pool noodle bass boat”! 😂 Thanks again, keep up the awesome videos!!
Why is that I think I would like getting wasted and fishing with this guy. Seems like a fun person to be around and a good one to have around when things go bad.
GENIUS EH the second I saw that I thought man that was so cool and also the other gentleman explaining how to rig the five gallon pail to essentially use it as a floating bait bucket..
Love all the hacks we use pool noodles for marker buoys so the wife has a spot to throw close to and it keeps us from hitting shallow stumps when the waters low
I use pool noodles cut to fit slice down the middle and put on top of boat windshield so when you put cover on it don’t rub and get a hole in it 👍👌awesome video thanks 😊
I have a landing net that has to be 50 years old. I like it because it is all aluminum with plastic netting that is extremely lite and easy to use. I just slid a 2 foot pool noodle down the handle to the loop. Took a zip tie to one end and it never moves. Also it doesn’t scratch my boat.
Love your videos man!! To make the pool noodle 5 gallon bucket toilet seat even better, keep trash bags with you and put one in the bucket with the noodle holding it in place. When you're finished taking care of business, tie it up good and tight and it's easy to dispose of in a trash can.
Just a friendly tip - If you car top your kayak (or anything else), don't put any pressure on a sunroof like shown at 4:20. The consequences can be very bad.
Love it sir. This channel rocks I mean I have learned so so much from you sir and I wanted to say thanks and I appreciate it all sir keep up the great work can't wait to see what you have for us nexts.
Always love me a good pool noodle hack.. so many things you can do. In my Jeep Grand Cherokee I use to rubber bungee cords (on in the back attached to the anchor hooks on the ceiling and one in the middle attached to the handles) and what I did is took pool noodles cut them into 3" pieces and slid them on bothe bungees. That way I can put my fishing rods on them and the noodles are the spacers. I could send you a picture if you would like. Also made a bait keeper out of a laundry bag.
Good info. Thank you.My net has a hollow handle with an end cap. I cut a noodle into strips and shoved them into the handle. Its proven its worthiness.
Great video dude! Several of these will be very useful for me and on my kayak. I know you were just showing this as an example, but for other watchers just a friendly tip: If you car top your kayak (or anything else), don't put any pressure on a sunroof like shown at 4:20. The consequences can be very bad, like leaky seals, broken glass, etc.
When I was living in an old city with narrow streets, I had a small car and needed to carry stuff I couldn't get inside. I've been using pool noodles as a roof rack for years. I've carried ladders, plywood, and lumber on pool noodles. I drop a thin rope down the center of the pool noodle, open my doors and bring the ends of the rope into the car and tie them under the inside of the roof. That holds them in place while I'm loading. I tie the load through the door openings, too, and just close the doors on them. With plywood, which can catch more wind, or with larger ladders, I tie another rope from the front cross-rope down to somewhere under the nose of the car to keep the front edge from flapping around. -- I'm not particularly fussy about my car's finish. If you are, then stick with a standard roof rack.
Hey Keith, I recently bought a 2019 Tracker V16 that was used but very little. So little it only had 7.4 hrs on the 60 HP Merc. I watch you channel all the time and liked the pool noodle hacks you listed a few months back. I made the pool noodle bumpers for my boat which turned out pretty good. I changed it up a bit by drilling a 1/4" hole in the cap then two smaller holes next to it so that I could slip the cord throught the cap and have a loop with knots tied in both ends of the cord inside the cap.
Awesome hacks bud! I will post a picture of one a couple of my pool noodle hacks i did on the group page. I will post it later on. You and and your family have a wonderful Labor Day tomorrow and God Bless
