I have a 2022 GMC dually and I so bad want to get this for my dually, but I'm not sure if I can do it myself, well I probably could but I have to get the money first, I did install the Map Sensor though.
@@RockyRohde awesome man sounds good. I ordered some 3/8” bora slip ons for my cummins but haven’t put them on yet. My 37x12.50’s rub my upper control arm.
I removed the compressor and cut the stud with a sawzall but my wobble kept binding. I’m going to buy another wobble and play around with different length extensions.
@@Andre96272 That is crazy and also goes to show just how much soot gets rammed through the engine that will reduce the life of the rings and cylinder walls, I don't know how it could help but not as a small quantity of fine dust will "dust" an engine. So the sensor itself, did it have much build up on it or was it relatively clean ?. It would seem from your experience that its not an install and forget it item though, that it has to be pulled and at least the Banks housing for the sensor cleaned out.
@@Andre96272 I've been curious about whether that would happen or not. I am glad to know it will be for sure now, so I thank you for sharing. How did you go about cleaning the opening? Did you vacuum the soot from the opening to keep it from dropping back into the manifold, or just let it drop into the manifold? I was curious if any issues with the latter, but I imagine not since the whole inside is likely lined with soot anyways.

Banks is the pioneer of diesel power. I was buying turbos from them in the 90 for my 7.3 PS
100%
Gotta slow down on the vehicles I just get caught up on all the videos then boom you got something else lol loving the ultimate
Yeah I know 😂.. Really liking the Denali.. Going to do more videos on it soon.
@@RockyRohde perfect enjoy to the channel
Does it void the warranty?
Do a video of your 1/2” slip on spacers. I didn’t think there would be enough treads on the studs.
I’ll try to get this done this week..

Only 5.5 threads on the 1/2… I ordered different upper control arms and planning to go back to 3/8” if possible.

I am curious if you cleaned the MAP off and then in another similar distance pull it again and see if the spacer helped prevent the build up.
Just installed today and cleaned with maf sensor cleaner.. will retest in another 2500
@@RockyRohde Excellent, one only knows such answers by testing as is your plan.
I pulled my spacer after a year and the carbon had almost sealed the hole. Crazy…
