  • Do you have trouble switching chords? Are you slow when you do switch them? Then this video is for you. If you are a beginner on the guitar I highly recommend you start out playing the chords this way. It totally changed the game for me.
    Message me with any questions.
    God bless!

Hey Brother Matt, wanted to say thank you for creating this channel, since the Lord has brought it in my path I have been able to successfully play songs on my guitar. One time I went to guitar center and went to sit in the acoustic guitar section and I took one of the higher priced ones lol because they sound much better than my beginner one haha. I was blown away at how confidently I played How great is our God, at home I don't sing while playing so I just try to learn the song on guitar but when I was in guitar center that day I was flowing like a professional. Gonna keep watching your beginner video's like this and incorporate it with learning the songs you teach. Grateful I TRULY hope to begin playing effortlessly like you and quick with the strumming. Also great devotional at the it reminded me about God did not come to condemn the world but that through him we would be saved, in the short devotional you did I got revelation into my situation im facing in a certain area of my life. Praise the Lord thank you Jesus Glory may the Lord continue using you and Blessing you and yours bountifully in Jesus name Amen Amen and Amen.

Thanks for your videos and devotionals!!!! Been strumming the 6 string for 2 years now and you honestly have truely helped me improve significantly. So thank you. I don't have the ear yet to break a song down but there is one I would love to learn. It doesn't sound too bad at all. Take a listen and see of possibly could be done in an easy way. Hi Matt, what is an appropriate age for a kid to start with guitar lesson?
My daughter is 6 and loves guitar's but not sure if she's ready.
    What do you recommend?

really...i would recommend almost the piano over guitar if possible. They can learn about music a little and forming chords and the piano doesn't need tuned and you can have a clear sound on day 1. Having all that been said, if she thinks she really wants to try it. I would buy a smaller guitar and see if she responds to it. Do you have a guitar already or would you have to get one for her? (also, i've taught people at age 8 is the youngest but not saying a 6 year old couldn't learn)
