I really like how you incorporate God into playing guitar, shows that there are still good people in the world. Class act, thank you Matt.

Hey Matt, Seen some comments where people wasn't fond of your devotional at the end i was busy messing with the guitar and missed most of it. But stopped and played it back, it was a great message for me to hear today! Thanks, it made others displeased just know it was nice for me to hear and i completely support it. Thanks again

just started learning to play guitar but your chords are different than what my teacher teaches where you keep basically your 3 and 4 fingers down on most notes which is easier?

I stumbled across this video after picking up my guitar after several months of ignoring it, and your devotional brought me to tears. I needed to hear those words today, thank you. God bless you.

I wanted to thank you. I played guitar as a kid and teenager. When I was 15 I became pregnant with a little miracle, and had no choice but to sell all 6 of my guitars to be able to provide for her. My wonderful husband decided to surprise me with two new beautiful guitars this evening. When I picked it up, I realized I have to relearn almost everything I had known. I've been watching your videos for a few hours now and you've got me on the right track! Thank you so much. Subscribed and hope to see more videos in the future.

I like what you said " Take what you have, where you are and do what you can". So encouraging.

Matt you are such a great teacher. I'm 48 and purchase an acoustic guitar 10 years ago and never learned to play. I've watched a few of you videos on the 1st 4 chords and strumming techniques and it is really working. thanks again for your help and the devotionals are a plus.

Very helpful, simple and honest approach. Just bought my first guitard at 55 and starting to get the hang of it. I now know several basic cords but it like you said. The mental aspect of strumming and changing chords is now my challenge. I will succeed.
