Great directions! I tried everything to get mine to work and finally tore it down to get the pump working again. It’s working now as good as new. Thanks!
Thank you Adrian for your videos, although I live in Australia you provided enough info for me to fix my machine, It's Delonghi Citiz coffe & milk unit after watching your video's. I didn't realise they had oval head screws and couldn't find a bit locally, so I drilled about a 3.5mm hole in the end of a 6mm cap screw then gave it a hit with a hammer to make it oval. This worked well and enabled me to complete the swap. Many thanks, I've enjoyed a nice coffee now after a 2 week wait for the new head.
This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
Thanks for this guide. Instead of buying a new machine, I decided to try and repair it. Replaced the pump, and now it works again. But damn those oval head screws are a nightmare. Made the tool, and it helped, but will go to hardware store and see if I can get some replacements that are easier to work with. BTW, recommend to disassemble machine first, so you can identify the exact pump type. The website where I bought the pump, suggested a different pump type for this machine. Not sure if it was compatible. Anyhow I found the exact same pump that was originally installed, and purchased that instead.
Nice. I have a new machine that isn't working, so while it surely doesn't have rust/scaling issues, it might still be the pump somehow. Tried all the usual ways to get the water flowing (using hot water in the reservoir, removing/replacing the reservoir repeatedly while the pump is running, putting pressure on the water) and no joy. No bubbles come up in the reservoir either. Was thinking of taking it apart, and just running the pump directly with a small primed hose, but I see it's a pretty big deal; I'm worried about breaking the plastic opening the clam shell sides. Also "oval" screws? Yuck. For rust issues, I've found soaking rusty parts in white vinegar for a few hours or overnight does wonders for getting rust off. I'm probably going to return the unit I have; I'm not taking apart a new machine. These things are obviously badly designed when it comes to the pump/priming system; sooo many people have trouble getting the water running. There should be an easy way to prime the pump.
heyAdrian, great video! any tips on how to fix a stuck button on this model? i have to press really hard to get the ristretto / short button to work, and that makes it hard to go into descaling mode, etc. appreciated!
What if the pump does not switch? I push right button but it blinking and nothing happen. I mean no sound. It happened at cleaning process. The machine just stoped.
Hi I have a Nespresso Citiz, and it is having a problem that it is extracting coffee grounds or coffee beans at the same rate, what could be causing this problem?
I have a Nespresso Virtuo Plus machine that is leaking. I can't even figure out how to get it open. I can only find one screw and when I take it out, nothing loosens up. Can you help?
Great video and it worked for me but after I put my Citiz 112 back together I am getting a 2 quick blink pause 1 blink on the espresso button. Any idea
I disassembled the pump, no rust, reconnected, still not flowing water. Is my pump bad? I tried to force water through the inlet pipe that goes through the water sensor and into the pump with a syringe, while pressing Lungo, it would not take the water in, and only a little was dripping out
All that was not necessary. If you take your water container and slowly set it on when the motor is trying to pump, air bubbles will come out, and it’ll pump water. It takes about 10-20 seconds.

Thanks for the video, I was able to fix the leakage!
Keep up the good work🙏

Wow, what a good explanation and teardown. This is just what I need! Thank you.
Very helpful video. Thanks a lot Adrian.

It's a goddamn expedition but it worked! Thanks for sharing! Totally worth the watch!
What does it mean if the machine lights up and blinks, but DOES NOT MAKE NOISE or dispense water? Is it the heat fuse? Or the pump? Thank you 🙏
Hello friend, my Nespresso gets hot, but when I start it, it does not make a sound (the pump does not turn on). What could be the reason?
Thanks as always for such informative videos! Would you please be able to make a pump repair video for the Pixie model?
Bro your flowmeter is broke change it then you can adjust the dose man 🤘🏾 big up i work for nespresso 🙏 by the way great work
Is this easy and cheap to replace and send off - think that's the issue with mine as small amount coming out

How the coffee with rusty water tastes like ? I think once the spring is rusted the rust will come back again.
What if the machine is not making noise?
Thank you, but my machine is still leaking after I changed the o ring... Any ideas?
where do you get that tool or how do you take it off without that tool

Hello. Clean the metal pads under the buttons with alcohol.

Will this work on a Chefwave Expresso maker??

Czy będzie filmik o BMW 320D
Thank you for the video, however could you pls show what tool do we use to remove the 6 bolts.
I used a side cutter or needle nose pliers to grip the bolt heads and twist them out.
Great video and it worked for me but after I put my Citiz 112 back together I am getting a 2 quick blink pause 1 blink on the espresso button. Any idea
Be sure the buttons are fitted correctly. This behavior sound like one of the buttons is always pushed.
Where can you buy the tool for the oval screws. No matter what I do I can’t get them out
Vinegar cleans rust
The magic is in the magic screw tool (adapter). How do we get one?
will the water be in contact with the rust?
Unable to remove pod. Arm will not lift to bring nozzle ! part forward to extract pod. Machine did make strange noise when putting pod into machine.
Great video!!

Same here... did you find a solution? Mine is still not working after the tutorial
Can you please tell me what kind of lubricant you used ?
Statoil Greaseway ALX 82
I wonder if there is a way to make this pump make less noise...
Yes. Disassemble it clean and lube. I have a video on how to.
What should I do? My Nespresso machine does not shut off.
You have a button problem. Remove the rubber part of the button and clean it with alcohol.
What a horrible machine to mantain. Just plain awful to work on. I have the same unit, so I will brace myself :)

I tried that many times and did not help at all
