Lash Assessment & Styling 101 | Volume Lash Extensions

- This is how we fully assess every lash client we see in order to design a map that will suit them perfectly.
Step 1: Assess the eye shaping + eye plane to determine emphasis area and mapping needed - Does the client have deep set eyes? How will we handle that?
Step 2: Take a close look at the lash lift to determine curls, is correction needed?
Step 3: Assess the layers, are they different on the inner, middle or outer part of the eye? If so, we must plan this into our set.
Step 4: Look at the spacing between the lash line and brows. Is there a lot of room? Consider this when planning lengths.
Step 5: What does the eye lid look like? Are we concerned about curls or lengths here? If we use a heavy curl on heavy lids, we may curl the lashes into the skin which is a big no no, how do we avoid this?
Step 6: What is your directional plan. This is so important - keep it in mind the whole service for a clean looking finish - I like drawing arrows on my eye pad to show my direction.

Would L curl or M curl be good for her lashes too?
Great question!! L curl would have actually looked so great on this client because her lashes aren't super lifted. I just chose CC curl because her lashes aren't down turned, and that was the deciding factor for the curl choice 😍
I am tried to find the pre made fans with extra short size but they seem sold out already. What kind of glue could you recommend for last long?
We have them in certain dimensions and curls! If you need help finding them, reach out to us and we can breakdown which dimensions and curls to look for! You can find them on our website at www.lostartistrylash.com - we go all the way down to 7mm in pre made fans and 5mm in handmade and classic

@@LostArtistryLash I want to find premade fan 10 D curly c va size from 6 - 9 mm, and I want to find a good glue for last long if you have any recommendations. I am using sky glue for lashes extension
@@cucpeponis7317 we don’t carry 10D in 7mm sadly but we do carry 8mm and above in this dimension. I personally like to use smaller dimensions for the inner corners, even for my super high dimension sets! It looks so lovely!!! 🥰 all of our glues have a 6 week hold but are gentle for the client! You will love them ❤️
