I’m also struggling with posture and isolation . My hands are shaking and I can’t apply the extension properly on the natural lash . And it takes me 3-4 hours to finish a classic design (I’m a beginner) it’s so frustrating. Sometimes I’m so disappointed with myself and I just want to quit but I’ve invested to much money 😣
Same! Omg I did a classic set n it took me 4hrs
Hi Jojo. This video will certainly help in taking care of your health as a lash tech - ua-cam.com/video/tvnjGPpDp4E/v-deo.html
Do not give up you will only get faster the more sets you do🎉
my first classic set took me 4 hours too!!! i think the u-shaped pillow will be a life saver
Thanks how I feel now
Hi, where did you get the lash shelf from? This is a good video for sure.
hi is the bed you used the right one amazon I saw u have wooden legs but the one on amazon has metal ones?
Hey Karen! Great question. I would def get the aluminum one. Wooden one is modified (I removed the large wooden panel and added a thinner wooden piece) because there wasn’t leg space in it before!
The aluminum one is what I recommend over the wooden one
Where did you get the actual bed? I can't seem to ever find any that have enough room for your legs to fit under completely. thank you!
I am struggling with isolation & posture. I am gonna ask my clients to turn their head if I need them too. Also practicing the tape methods. Great video!
Yes girl!! It’ll help a ton 🥰🥲
You’ve literally been a life saver! I am learning so much from you as a beginner.. thank you!
Use the forehead... 🤯🤯🤯 Why haven't I been doing this?!?!?! 🤣 Thank you SO much! Honestly didn't even realize I wasn't using the clients head as a stabilizer! Thanks, love! Great content!😘
Hey Morena. Glad you found it helpful!!!! It's such a simple thing but definitely overlooked by many. This will def help you tons. ♥️
what about if you are left handed? can you still do this?
What is the product your using for the glue? I was taught to use a finger ring cup
@April Sedillo It's called a jade stone, and she has a strip of tape across becuz that helps hold the shape of your glue, and not have it spread.
Great tips!
I am struggling with positioning and isolating the lashes. I guess taping the eyelashes are kind of difficult for me. Anyway I am determined to get this. I knew there had to be help here. Thank you!
My wrists thank you for this
Sooo glad it helps Dava!!
What is the lash tile for?
Hi Cathy and Ginny! Thanks so much for the video.
I've always wondered about that U shaped pillow. Is it really comfortable for clients? And is there a specific one that you recommend?
Hey there! U-shaped pillows are comfortable for client + yourself (both sides are higher than clients head aka your less neck bend). Link in bio for the pillow in vid :)
@@GinnyxBeauty thank you! I see the one you use even has the neck support which is great. Can you confirm what you cover it up with now due to covid (do you still use towels?).
Great question! I use dentil bibs. One-time disposable which makes clients feel more safe during this time. We just use towels for the purpose of our videos!
@@GinnyxBeauty thank you! I was thinking of dental bibs myself so I'm glad to hear that works out. Appreciate you replying so quickly :)
I’m just starting with practicing and learning how to hold the isolation tweezers, im holding the, as I see you hold yours but my thumb is killing me, is this normal ?
When I do my inner and outer conners my wrist hurt so bad I have to reposition my entire chair/ body
YESS!! Please do reposition your entire chair/body. This is the very reason why we need wheels on our chairs... Take care !
Hi Girls !
Excellent informative video, as always. Thank you.
Happy New Year !
Happy new year love!!! All the best ♥️
This was so helpful thank you for being so informative!
Do you place the lash with your Dominant hand? Or do you use your dominant hand to isolate?
Hey! Can you link the hand wrap you were talking about please
www.lashhappyacademy.com/products :)
This was absolutely what I needed! You had need at "you can actually turn the clients head." 🤯
What tweezers are you using? Thanks
Hi! I think they’re from untamed artistry @untamed.artistry on IG
Thank you
Yes! untamed artistry :)
You’re BACK 😍 long time no see! - @HouseofHouseLashes
Hehe you noticed!!! Thank you love.
I sure did x
❤
how long does a full set take? volume and classic>>
Hey Alisha, A full set for classics would be just under 2 hours. and a full set of volumes would be 2.5 hours or so. (it depends on the client's lashes etc!) But I think it totally varies per person
Your nails are so cute !
Awww you noticed. My manicure didn’t go to waste heh! ☺️
🥰❤️
VERY VERY HELPFUL ❤️ thanks
You’re welcome 😊
A disposable head bonnet or headband would help instead of the paper towel on the forehead. :)
Very true!
Also, not sarcasm! But this pillow looks a little different than the one linked, no?
Sorry!! The link has been updated ;) Good catch
