This is such a gift for the community, especially for Simon fans. There’s so much content combining various Castlevania games + some extra stuff, the devs must have worked really hard on this, I can feel the love and passion through the screen. I especially love how Simon has Grant’s wall climbing ability (somewhat).
@@anotherland2462 Simon built the franchise. Sure maybe Julius is the "strongest" Belmont but he isn't the "first" Belmont. Simon and Richtor are icons of gaming. Game definitely seems cool, especially with the drought of Castlevania in general. That said, does Simon... have many fans? No shade to the OG but he isn't much of a character
Honestly, it looks like it's a minor reskin away from being commercially viable. It wouldn't even be the closest Castlevania derivative in that market.

Pretty sure that the invisible block room is not a glitch and is rather intended, considering a little further in you see the huge plains painting room (which would otherwise not make much sense if illusion was not the intent.) It's likely a homage to the original level where Etude for the Killer played in Chronicles, since the whole level had a trickery gimmick. I could be wrong though!

And same for this! Ever since seeing the MSX version, I wanted a sort of metroid style game of the first CV!

At this point, Konami might as well pass down the Castlevania IP to us Castlevania fans, as we're able to put more passion into the franchise than Konami has in the past decade.
