The Bhardwaj has to be the most prone to messiness element on the bars. So few can actually perform it smoothly, and I’ve only seen one person actually connect it to a return to the high bar transition- Suni Lee.
It’s really a shame that they’re not rated higher since it’s very clear they’re different in terms of difficulty while you’re doing but not in the code That’s why we’re only having those same boring routines
@@jbmusician2007they were pretty lenient on some form issues during that time though and her form on bars was nice. I think the competition was just stacked at the time and if you weren't a gymnast from one of the super powers, they were a lot more harsh on scoring
I keep hearing that there is an "E-cap" on transitions, but does it say so in the code? Or is it just that old "Super-E" skills were turned into E, and then people assumed the FIG had a weird hangup?
i’m curious about this too i read up on it and a few articles say that the cap isnt explained in the code but its safe to assume it does exist because a majority of the transitions mentioned in this video should logically be rated higher yet they arent. same with the e cap on dance elements
Nothing in the COP says there is an "E cap" in transitions, but it just so happens that no transition goes above E so if appears to be an unwritten policy. It's the same with dance elements being capped at E on FX and BB, it appears to be an unwritten policy
I believe Ivana Hong performed the Pak version at the World's in 2007. They didn't like it, and she had to completely change her bar routine post-worlds.
@@gmanandhisladyI remember that. I was blown away with her routine so it was a shame she had to change it after that. I think that's another reason why German giants aren't as common anymore
I love this sport but since the transition to the D score-E score format, FIG has really shot themselves and this sport in the foot! The Seitz and Komova should obviously be F elements but you cap transitions to F and leave all that talent on the table? 🤷🏾♀️ Same for E caps on dance elements on beam & floor. If a gymnast can leap & turn like a professional ballerina, let her fly! If other athletes can’t keep up, oh well! 🤷🏾♀️ They can tumble! And if the Biles on beam gets upgraded for 2029-32, I gonna print out the CoP & burn it!
Every transition was great but the Strong is something else. So beautiful to watch 😲
Praying to see the Teza Pak & Teza Bail 😍
YESS YOU INCLUDED IT😍😍😍
Elvire Teza has some of the coolest skills attached to her name. What a gymnast! Underapreciated for sure
Teza was a beautiful beast!
Kudos to all the bars innovators over the years!
I will take the Strong any day.
She even connected a Jaeger into it which is amazing
In-bar elements, when done correctly, are some of my favorite skills! 😍
The Strong and Tezas are beautiful
Oh for a return to innovation!
I would love to see some kind of bonus for performing rare elements, or upgrading rare elements
They just need to stop capping things like transition elements on bars to incentivize athletes to compete harder elements.
A Teza Pak connected to a Van Leeuwen or a Seitz omg 😍
Missed opportunity to show Sanna Veerman's Seitz into Bhardwaj
Finally! Another video from the masterclass
Suni Lee really has mastered the Bhardwaj!
Damn I miss what the uneven routines used to be...And the Tezas are my favorites.

If they required more be done on the low besides "you got to touch both bars" the strong may be more popular.
Man. How did teza never win any world medals.
Form deductions mostly

Haven't seen German giants in WAG for decades.
