absolutely yes, what i see is rock bands during the fitst part of the 90s ,trying to get rid of their poppy side and bubble gum image (made by labels and magazines) and bringing solid music on ...ultimately many had quit or adapted to grunge/post grunge music, but we had a couple episodes of good record, like this one or warrants dog eat dog album
Ted Templeman wanted them to be his next Van Halen. But Marc Torien is way more talented than David Lee Roth. Even still today the dude is putting out great music..
This video is really well produced.Excellent Cinematography & Lighting, jump cut editing, Great band too live.....Every guy in it really good , lead singer crazy powerful voice and energy live ,Guitar player was really imaginative as well , bass player holding it down solid, drummer throwing in little percussive tricks and extras live also, Yeah a lot of peeps say they were a van halen clone but not really, although their producer was Ted Templeman, they had their own niche.
yep, this was the natural evolution that rock should have taken but the powers that be decided otherwise. great live band too, I saw em twice. one of the best drummers
Totally agree wih you!!!! They learned from Van Halen, but they are GREAT musicians. Never saw this band in a live show... Its a pity. Argentina loses its opportunity... Greets!
I think I played this album along with Dokken, Lynch Mob, and Blue Murder til they were worn out. You cannot find rock like this at all now. Just the guitar tone is enough to impress on this one.
exactly, what Sweda could really bring on, was sEX in his way of playing, which si exciting to play at volume 10,when you re driving...today s guitar players don t really have a clue
@@superbatfirenze Those harmonics he plays in the first bar of his solo, is the coolest, simplest shit, but sounds FUCKING PERFECT for this song! I hate that the lead singer (from what I've read) is the reason they imploded.
+Robert Charles absolutely, and sexy as Hell! those blue eyes watching you through his dark curly hair are just Devilish, and his way of moving his body together with the guitar is damn hot!
Makes me wanna learn the guitar! Sometimes wish I did instead of the drums! But drums are a great aggression instrument! U get pissed an u jus go beat the skins for awhile, an its all good! :) Oh wait, that didn't sound right :-/ Hahaa!!! ;)
i know a lot of people like to bash the metal 'hair bands' of the 80's, but those songs, the bands, most of them, were a lot of fun. That's what they were mostly about. You can easily scream a long with the lyrics like you can with this one with Marq. Most importantly, the guitar players of the 80’s were under appreciated and underrated. Most guitar riffs and solos were sometimes simple but they were LOUD, like this one. This one also has cool wood blocks and cow bells going on. Kick Ass!
If I had a time machine, I would go back and make sure Smells like teen spirit was never written; that way music like this would have its rightful place, instead of being largely unkown.
@@rebeccahwilliams4461 Grunge was just like the guys who killed disco; they saw people enjoying themselves, and got jealous because they didn't feel comfortable in their presence. I hate country music, but I don't want it to end. Grunge guys felt like they should be the ONLY folks playing music, but their music was so depressing, that most of them ended up killing themselves in one way or another...
2 years before (1988) hardly no one produced songs or videos like this. Everything was changing very quickly in the late 80s, early 90s and this song/video specifically resembles the 1990-91 period.
I love this album, and the first one was great also. and as a female, gotta say, Marq was absolutely HOT!!!!! saw them live back then and yup, it was lovely. plus the music was on point. but now, no, I grew out of the whole asshole I am beautiful so look at me thing.
Saw these dudes in the chestnut cabera in philly small venue fucking awesome and jimmy the drummer was hitting hard on my wife !! I always though since they are done the lead should have going to VH after Ted Templeton produced both iam suprised it never happened.
Anyone who uses the term "hair band" or "hair metal" knows nothing about music. Anyone who says this band is "metal" knows nothing about music. That said, I love this song, this band and 80s music in general (including metal). They just don't make 'em like this anymore. :::Sigh:::
People bash Hair Metal because they are to shiity of a Musician to play this sjit. Bands like this still have made their mark in music in spite of what nay-sayers dare to say. They are Legends.
I prefer Melodic rock instead of Hair Metal. long hair has always linked to rock and roll... Until it became a trend to get short hair!!!! And I hate trends! Period!
The drummer is so underrated. I love the creativity of the fills.
hes an animal, awesome feel
His voice was INSANE!! Outrageous!!
That bass intro.....Straight classic still smokes in September '24!
This was from back when we still had the mighty Z-Rock in NYC!
Sick song. The guitar work on bass & lead guitar was awesome.
Love this song then and now. Miss this kind of music.
The weirdest "hair band" of the era. In fact, despite their absurd image, they were badass musicians and 'Freakshow' is an underrated album.
Agree 🙃

I think they are hard rock really
Ted Templeman wanted them to be his next Van Halen.
But Marc Torien is way more talented than David Lee Roth.

Funny .. I had more Bullett albums than Halen 😉

Amen to that

Yes we did brother!
This is my kid’s generation. I listened with her and I love it!
Bulletboys Rock!
This is the Bulletboys best song by far. They were tight back in '91 and Marq was wailing!!
2024 This song still slaps harder than my 7th grade teacher (for reference, I’m 51) the 80’s were wild!
Marq channels his inner DLR
while the rest of the boys lay
it down thick & nasty!
Ran into these guys in the early 90's. Surprised at how short they all were. Great band.
I met the guys in Quiet Riot in 1995. I'm 5' 11" and those fellers came up to my shoulders...
I just discovered this album and song a few days ago and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Bulletboys rock!
...killer guitarist!
+Robert Charles - Mick Sweda....yes indeed.

My fave cut off the underratted 'Freakshow' record but their cover of the Tom Waits classic 'Hang On St. Christopher' is sweet too.
that was one of my favorites.. too bad only 128,705 views!
great tune
oh god damn that brings me back
I wish I was Mick Sweda's guitar. Love this band.

I guarantee you Cypress Hill guys were listening to The Bulletboys as welll as Living Colour etc
Here in fort myers florida..8-2-24
Lol. If this video came out 2 years before it did they'd be 10x richer.

Awsome
anyone else think Marq & Rita Ora would pass as twins
They took the cool part out towards the end where it says "I got five on it"!!! :(
2022 🤘🤘
Great Song For The Pole ... n Goin To The Strip Club!
great Showmanship from the siner all the way to the Drummer STYLE !!!!
Tooled to be the next VH like band, and could have been close if only ...
These chic's are hot.

Sweeda gets unreal tone!! Les Paul and a Marshall equals Badass tone

MTV HEADBANGERS BALL MARCH 2 1991 WORLD PREMIERE VIDEO DEBUT video #11 of 28 ( around midnight ) VHS tape confirmed ,
Holy fuck Jimmy D'anda rocks my world
Smoke....
If only the metal bands had today's tech back then instead of being screwed by the greedy labels that killed a lot great bands.
Read my mind! Especially when he's wearing the shades!
But, definately better tunes than the stuff coming out these days!
I inhale!
Ummmm tea time ..Marq on a plate pleeze👄👄💋
Fucking killer band!! A shame egoes tore them apart!!!
So question,Marq Torien should be the next singer of.......Van Halen, AC/DC, Slash Snakepit or someone else?
This video is Van Halen meets Faith No More meets Madonna's Vogue
bad ass band he'll yes
Saw these dudes in the chestnut cabera in philly small venue fucking awesome and jimmy the drummer was hitting hard on my wife !! I always though since they are done the lead should have going to VH after Ted Templeton produced both iam suprised it never happened.
Dave Lee Roth on vocals??????????
PLEASE EXCUSE ME .BUT WE DO NOT FUCK AROUND.
@theskullbrosshow thats what grunge does depresses the shit out of you, thats why I love Motley Crue and the CARS, they wrote about girls and cars.

1:44 Duke Silver
This song can't get enough love.
That and it gave me herpes.
Is that really the Tower of Power horns in the song?
Great band but the label had no clue how to handle them.
🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🎶🎼🎵🎤🎧
@SaintWicked721 Only this guy can sing, Dave can't.
Marq may have been too talented and good-looking for his own good. Folks get jealous...
You think that contributed to the bands demise also
i used to love this band in the 80s, now i watch this and think "why is marq pretending to be 1970s David Lee Roth?"
Because Ted Templeman? 8D
If you bump up the tempo and energy a bit, you could open for Celine Dion
I prefer Melodic rock instead of Hair Metal.

@theskullbrosshow true that
