The Jayda InStitches Show 2018
Brought to you by The InStitches Team! :) - Навчання та стиль
Jayda I hope that you are well. The last few videos I've seen I have felt like maybe I should send some love out across the the miles to you. So I'm sending lots of love and healing and hugs your way. Seems weird, I know, but what could it hurt? 💜💜💜💜💜🌻🌻🌻🌻
Hi Donna! I think love and positive vibes are pretty much always the best thing to send :) Thank you so much, we appreciate it! We hope you're having an awesome week :D
Jayda, thanks so much for posting this! I watched your bean stitch hat last night and this one while getting ready for work. I cannot wait to make the bean stitch hat and fun pompoms! Now I know I can make poms in funky colors that match whatever I am making. Love your tutorials because you really take your time to explain and SHOW the stitches and technique in a way I can understand. Merry Christmas!
Hi Bobbie! We're so pleased you're enjoying our show! We hope you have fun making the pompoms AND the hat! You're so right! With all the different fun fur options out there, the pompom opportunities are endless :)!! Thank you for watching and Merry Christmas! :)
I would suggest an exacto knife instead of scissors
So beautiful
What a lovely crafty project just right for the season.
Hi Trisha! It looks like a fluffy snowball * giggle *
Hi Jayda! This Pom Pom is so FLUFFY!!!!! I love it! This is much better than a normal yarn Pom Pom! The hat is so cute! Thanks for the tutorial!
SO FLUFFY!! * giggle * that's exactly what I said LOL Thank you for watching :)
Thanks, Jayda, we needed that demo....great!!!
Thank you for another great tutorial 💚 Definitely going to be making a few of these 😊😊

Thank you for watching, Karen :)
Thank you - I love these furry pom-poms!
Hi Denise! They're SO cute :)
Awesome video. Who knew not to cut the fur. Thanks for the info
Hi Marie! I learned that little technique 20 years ago from someone who made teddy bears! Neat eh?!
Absolutly Genius Jada. Thank You
Hi Kim! It's such a fun way to make a new bit of hat decor :) Thank you for watching!
I have been wondering how these are made for the longest!!! Thanks for the tutorial 🧡
Hi! Thank you for watching :)
Thank you for this new craft jayda love it 😊Amanda xx
HI Amanda! Sometimes it's fun to mix it up :)
Hi Jayda, you made a Tribble😂😂😂. Greets from a Trekki
* giggle * I considered stuffing a cupboard with them LOL...I just need to find some squeakers...
Quick tip: quilting thread is much stronger. I have in the past been able to find any color i needed or have been able to get unwaxed cotton quilting thread and dye that to the color i need.
Hi Dee, GREAT TIP! Yes, quilting thread would be an excellent choice for this...or even embroidery floss!
Thank you for this tutorial! I tried to make a stuffed animal with fake fur many years ago. It was a disaster. I don't think I had a clue how to cut fake fur. What a great way to make a fur pom-pom for a hat!
Hi Karen! I learned that little trick when I was making teddy bears an eon ago - I remember thinking at the time "ah HA! That's smart!" LOL
that is cool !! i wanted to make my daughter a new hat for Christmas i bet she would love this... i have never done anything with that fake fur before ! this helps me understand it .. nice tutorial Jayda !!
I like your profile pic :) Jayda always has great ideas, doesn't she ?
@@janw3729 thanks it's representative of my church Temple, Jayda is amazing...!!
@@debidiaz6569 yes I know. :) I was married there years ago. Hopefully moving back to Utah in Spring. I miss is so bad.
@@janw3729 Yay!! congrats.. hubby and i were married in the Atlanta Temple.. i prefer the winters in the south !! lol snow is pretty but from a distance LOL
Hi Debi! Thank you :)
Thank you! Just learn something tonight🌛.See you Friday!⛄
Hi Danielle! See you tomorrow :)
Thanks for the great tutorial!
Hi Sheila, Thank you for watching :)
I always wonder who this person is that gives this video a thumbs down! I mean, if you don't like fake fur pompoms, why not just just go on to another video? On the other hand, if there's something you don't like about the process, just leave a respectful comment offering an enhancement or even another way altogether? Can you tell I have a HUGE problem people giving a thumbs down to a video for all the wrong reasons?? :-)
At least only six but I agree
I so totally agree. 😑 I don't understand why the thumbs down either.
Sweetie it is mostly kids who press the keys wrong
So cute thank you for sharing this idea.🤗
Hi Marie! Thank you for watching :)
Love it!!! TFS
Thank you for watching, Pam :)
Great idea thanks jayda x 😊
Thank you for watching, Julie :)

Hi Cathy! So easy and SO FLUFFY! * giggle * I just love them!

Hi Shelley! Thank you so much for watching :)
Omg this is perfect!!!!
Just what I needed
Hi Allie! Nothing like a big, fluffy hat topper LOL
@@JaydaInStitches This should help me improve my sewing skills too❤
Great tip!!! 🙌👌👍
Fun idea. Thanks for sharing. Take care, jlee x
Hi Jlee! Emergency crafting LOL...must have something FLUFFY!!
@@JaydaInStitches LOL :)
Maybe using cotton yarn or embroidery floss will be a better choice for sewing the Pom Pom and to add it to the hat. Loved the video ... thanks!
That was genius for me. ❄️⛄️❄️I was curious on how to cut it and not destroy the fluffy fur. Thank you
Hi Peaches! Isn't that a neat little trick?!! I learned that years ago when I was making teddy bears! It keeps all the fur nice and fluffy!
Thank you!!
Love it!! so clever. Do you think we could use faux fur yarn to make the pom pom instead?
Totally! You could use that and crochet ball pom, like we did here: ua-cam.com/video/8dqOhRBVjsM/v-deo.html
Maybe add some eyes and make a Tribble critter from Star Track.
OMG i loved the Tribble's lol lol
Omg!!! Haha I love it😂
Haha!! Too funny!! 💕
😂😂
* giggle * I told Mr. InStitches I could cover his desk with them LOL, they just need little squeaker toys!
Hi Jayda, Hi Mr.Stitches👍 I love these quick fix tutorials. Love the yarn bowl. Where did you purchase it?
Hi Sondra, thank you! My girlfriend actually gave me that for Christmas :) A friend of hers made it!
I have the exact same bol!!!!!
I love it! :)
Such a great idea! Would it still be washable?
Hi Shannon! Most fun fur is machine washable in cold water on a gentle cycle :)
Love it❣️👍🏼
I’m always worried about buying the so called faux fur Pom poms
Could be used as a cat toy too. 😻
Add some catnip before you see it up. I'm an cat lady..lolol
ohmygoodness yes!
👍❤...love it
Hi i am Ana from Rhode Island USA. Blesses to all, i have wanted to write to Jayda but didn’t know so i hope this is the way.
Hi Ana! Thank you for watching :)
This is sooooo darn clever!! TFS!!!⛄XO🌲XO🎅XO🎄XO🎁XO❄
Hi Lala! And CUTE! I've added them to several hats now and I just love how they look!
Jayda can you wash them in the washer? I forgot to ask you that but I was curious as to how well they hold up in the washer. Thank you in advance for your response.⛄XO🌲XO🎅XO🎄XO🎁XO❄
I think it would be also easier to use really small pointed scissors, or thin scissors :)
Hi! Yes, point scissors would be very helpful here!
Thank you for this tutorial, I made one but I cut through it and the fur went small and it was not fluffy at all. Thanks for showing me how to do it properly. I’m going to make a bunch of these now 😍
Hi Crystal! We're happy to pass on the useful tips! I learned that one from someone who used to make teddy bears!
What a eat idea. Pom poms can get a little pricey
Yup!
💝💝
me: Ima just make 2
3 SECONDS LATER
Me: (made 999,999 pom poms ) I MIGHT have overdone it a LITTLE...
LMAO, they're KINDA addictive....
