THANK YOU!! I open the coconut cream can upside down so I can pour out the liquid and not smash into the liquid as I'm spooning out the cream. I also add lecithin so the creamer doesn't separate as it sits in the fridge.
Ok this video made me get my French press out, after seeing that heavenly steaming brewed coffee mixed in with that scrumptious creamer...I got to have it now. Thank you!
I can't wait to try this!! Thank you! Getting ready to start the Mediterranean diet way of eating and I have to still have a thick and tasty coffee creamer. Yea!! This sounds great and again, thank you very much!!
@@worththewait8349 yes, that will happen if it get cold or isn't mixed well enough. Usually a really good shake or a quick spin in the blender will fix that. Also, I tried to send the link to my other latte video but it didn't seem to post. If you go to my page, it's the latest video. You will love it!! Merry Christmas!
Great video! Like your calm presentation style. There are so many ‘in your face’ style videos out there that your channel presents a pleasant alternative. Thank you🙏 Can’t wait to try this recipe. The creamer recipes I’ve tried to date are usually too nutty and don’t have that creamy consistency I’ve been trying to duplicate with store bought creamers. This one you’ve provided looks like a great one. Again, many thanks🙏 Have a great day! I’ve liked and subscribed :)
Quick question: does it taste coconut-y in any way? I'm not a huge fan of coconut milk flavor, but I also haven't had much luck with other non-coconut creamer versions (they just aren't as thick).
Great video. Looks delicious. Questions: That's such a big batch. If it stores in the fridge for only 3-5 days, I will be throwing out a bunch. Can it be frozen? Also, I'm trying to avoid all forms of sugar, so do you think the beautiful consistency you achieved would happen without dates? And does it taste very coconut-y? I'm not a big fan of the flavor of coconut. Thanks!
Maybe try using without the coconut and less water? I have seen lots of videos where they lower the ratio of water to nuts. I have seen it down with hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts...etc......no coconut involved. They all need to be soaked and blended in a high speed blender like a Vitamix....that is the downer for those who don't own one. But, if you use a nut bag, I can't see why you wouldn't catch the bits of nuts. Good luck!
@@opal777 You can make nut milks/creams in any blender just soak them beforehand, it might come out with more pulp but it shouldn't stop you from making them
The first batch I made stayed creamy and liquid in the refrigerator. 2nd batch totally solidified in the fridge. Has that happened to anyone else? I really like the taste but like it to stay liquid. Any suggestions?
I had to come back nearly 3 months later to say again how wonderful this has been in my coffee life. xoxo PBE!
Does it separate in the coffee?
Does it parade in the coffee?
Separate lol
@@julietteboser1202 since nobody bothered to answer, I'm assuming so. Good question.
Finally, a non dairy creamer that actually does whiten and cream the coffee!!! Thank you!
Don't hesitate, this one's a winner!

It definitely helped me! You may also like this one. This is non dairy latte 2.0!! I make this everyday :)
I made the mistake of buying coconut cream instead of coconut milk? It got really chunky like ricotta cheese?

Store or refrigerate your cans of coconut cream Upside Down so when you open them the liquid is at the top.
When you say you subbed out almond milk for cream, do you mean you used half a can of coconut cream and half a can of almond milk?
Thumbs👍added to playlist in 2018. Tyfs💗🌹💗🌹💗

not if you get the refined version. There's no coconut aftertaste.
@@jen_rivas there's a refined version of coconut cream?

Looks delicious!! For your coffee how much grounded coffee and water is in the French press?
Plant Based Explorers Hehe! Ok sounds good to me😊 thanks!
@Peter Piper haha yes
I made this just like you did except I used a rum nut flavor instead of vanilla and it just separates off the top of my coffee?
can you boil the creamer
You can heat it but not sure about boiling it.
how much saturated fat in there?
Nice, but that's not a teaspoonful of vanilla extract, but more like 3 tablespoonfuls.
Once I made this it turned completely solid after being refrigerated :( any tips?
Plants Not Perfection thanks for your reply! I’ll try that :) I wonder if I made too thick? I could dilute with a little coconut milk

Quickly blend it up again
That's a whole lot of saturated fat, no surprise it solidifies.
That brand of coconut cream has extremely high saturated fat.
Yes, coconut oil does
the coconut makes my drink taste like coconut. duh.
Wow thank you so much
